Not sure why a basketball team needs to do something like this when they're payed to play basketball, but okay. Especially since they're a right-leaning Organization that might disagree with the things the SJW's care about. As do I.

The players are free to do whatever they want. The Organization has no obligation to do anything they don't want to in terms of politics.

Not trying to derail the tread but I agree this had me puzzled as well. I am for social change but why must a team be forced to take a stance this is a basketball league not a political convention. If a team or player does decide to take a stance that is their choice. And since the team is owed by the DeVos family the stance they do take you will likely not like so it is best they keep it to basketball only.

Almost everyone on the Magic has already kneeled in support of BLM after the Jacob Blake tragedy. They should take a stance with their players. Or at least be consistent. That's why I think there's a lot they can do to improve.

Wow, how much fun  . Sorry, but I don't think racism is funny. Everyone should be on the same side here.

How TF is racism or whatever karen-inspired social crusade you are on related to the subject of the Orlando Magic's next step after this season? Shove it in the OT board if you wanna talk.about that stuff.

The opinions of the organization may differ from that of their players. And since we are talking about the DeVos family, I am pretty certain they do. And to judge the play of the magic on their stance on social issues is weird. These are completely different things, they are not even related.

The organization maybe yes. The players should be able to kneel or stand, whatever they want.

While I am in favor of social justice, I disagree with this. This is why the battle is being lost in some cases. You can't force or try to force people to accept your views.

We're falling.
The Penny Hardaway stuff is smoke and mirrors. Without a core, or a consistent veteran that is playoff proven we are going nowhere but back to the lottery.

Yeah, this is the truth. I feel like there is too much focus on changing one's views and opinions when the focus should be changing policy and laws. That is how you create real change.

Of course we are going back to the lottery. Most Magic fans are/were glad to see we shipped off our three most talented (uninjured) players for assets. I'm not sad about another year in the lottery, in fact bottom the f__k out next year.

We got three firsts (with one of them being damn good #8 overall in a very strong draft), two seconds, WCJ, RJH for players who were never going to take us anywhere. And I bet if you asked Bulls, Nuggets, and Celtics fans they all regret the deals.

I'm excited, for the first time since Dwight...
