This is a fan forum board, this one in particular of the Orlando Magic.
We get it, you're a realist who likes to spread his/her logic who usually has their homer glasses off.
Though If I was a betting man and McLemore has a "solid 1st game" in Summler League, you'll be biased (just like a lot of us are regarding Oladipo) and be the first to bring that crap in here.
I understand your logic, I do. Though it's becoming a bit redundant to ALWAYS be on the opposite side of praise, more of the lines your thinking regarding Oladipo is usually "glass half-full" when other posters praise and yes, put Oladipo on a peadstool because of a small sample size (two Summer League games). We're FANS, that's we should do. That is, have hope, praise, overvalue, and have high expectations even it doesn't make sense (yet). In this instance, regarding Oladipo.
Love your insight, but just accept the majority that make bold assumptions/opinions even if they do seem pre-mature.
I will not be biased on McLemore, just like I'm not on Oladipo. I'm being as realistic as possible, not on the side of being opposite of praise, in fact, you can check my posts on the Thunder game thread and the summer league thread, I gave Oladipo a ton of realistic praise throughout the day and have done so since he put on our uniform.
*Left hand MUCH better than scouting reports
*Has better dribbling, and at least one go to dribble, the right to left under the leg
*Great court vision after attacking the rim; able to find open man after penetration for easy assist
*Good shot when wide open
*Good form from the 3pt line
*Good at getting to the FT line
*Good at getting steals and being active on defense
All things I said about him, all realistic. Yes, I gave some healthy criticisms too, but they were realistic IMO.
I understand you want to hype him up, I was just joking about the opposite of hating, hence the graphic, and you can say whatever you want about him, I reserve the right to engage in discussion regardless of how realistic opinions may be. There is really no way to be wrong on these guys when talking about projections, that's why I never come in and cut people down, instead, I write my opinion down and converse.
I'd like to discuss how you see him being a top 15 PG next season. Cause I don't see him even starting for at least up until the trade deadline. How do you see that working out?
