I know the GM took the best deal on the table. I know this deal is far superior than the last serious one, not the imaginary ones people have been clamoring for. You people act like there was any way to screw this up, like your imaginary trade ideas were actual offers Hennigan turned down in order to take this trade, like there was any chance in hell we would not have gotten screwed in a trade involving Dwight Howard and teams with virtually no assets. The trade is not good, it is simply the best we were going to get, if you disagree you are just delusional and there is a reason you are assistant manager at jiffy lube and not GMing a basketball franchise at 30. And yes i am excited this is finally over, i am excited next season is going to be a lot more fun to watch than last season was. Stop crying, we can finally move on. The trade is not as good as what you imagined it would be, tough ****, it was never going to be that.

So you're telling me definitively that the last good offer the Magic were going to get was on August 9th? 3 months before the season starts.Hell, two months before training camp starts.

There isn't a single reason this deal had to go down this week. None.
There wasn't one single imminent deadline.
Nothing.

There was zero reason for any team to make their best offer this week. NONE.

All you apologists explain that away with some concrete facts and reasoning. I'm listening.

Well?

No, you forgot Afflalo, Vucevic and Harkless.

Okay, even though I've never heard of Harkless and Vucevic, It is obvious that you believe the right trade was made. Nevertheless, I wish your franchise good luck and hope to see another Cavs-Magic ECF in the near future. :)

I hope so but I think we are going to win more games then we want, but I hope we are top two pick bad because we need Muhammad. I'm tired of bigmen leaving this team we need a young wing player and just build around that. Harkless is going to be a good piece going forward but add a Muhammad, Bennett, Parker, or Wiggins beside that and we are looking good going forward.

I never said anything about the right trade being made, I was just saying that it was better than the Cleveland offer.

How are we supposed to answer a question when it is impossible for us to know the answer. How about you call Rob and ask him considering the Magic organization are the only ones who can answer that.

They obviously felt the time was right.

3/12/13: Will it be as bad as Lebron's first game back against Cleveland?

Report: Rob Hennigan Was Not Highly Regarded By Spurs

Rob Hennigan spent four years with the Spurs, beginning as an intern and working his way up to become the team's director of basketball operations.

Hennigan left the Spurs to join Sam Presti in Oklahoma City, where he spent two seasons as the Thunder’s assistant general manager/player personnel.

"Hennigan didn’t have the same stature in San Antonio," writes Buck Harvey. "When he left to join Presti, the Spurs thought he probably needed to get out and try something else."

Presti's top assistant was Troy Weaver, who reportedly didn't interview as well with the Magic as Hennigan.

Oh, it will be close. It's going to be bad. Unless he's having chronic back problems, in which case it will be a party!

CHRISTIAN EYENGA ‏@christeyenga8
Everything happen For reason I will thanks god for this new opportunity

Peep his twitter background. I'm down with this guy. https://twitter.com/christeyenga8

We should photoshop Eyenga in a Magic uni and tweet it to him to use for his avi. I would if I had photoshop skills.

I AM COMPLETELY STUNNED BY THIS REVELATION. HE MUST HAVE BEEN PRACTICING ON TRADE CHECKER FOR LITERALLY HOURS AFTER LEAVING SAN ANTONIO IN ORDER TO IMPROVE HIS PERFORMANCE ENOUGH TO EXECUTE THE ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE HE JUST AUTHORED.

Return to Orlando Magic
