I know the GM took the best deal on the table. I know this deal is far superior than the last serious one, not the imaginary ones people have been clamoring for. You people act like there was any way to screw this up, like your imaginary trade ideas were actual offers Hennigan turned down in order to take this trade, like there was any chance in hell we would not have gotten screwed in a trade involving Dwight Howard and teams with virtually no assets. The trade is not good, it is simply the best we were going to get, if you disagree you are just delusional and there is a reason you are assistant manager at jiffy lube and not GMing a basketball franchise at 30. And yes i am excited this is finally over, i am excited next season is going to be a lot more fun to watch than last season was. Stop crying, we can finally move on. The trade is not as good as what you imagined it would be, tough ****, it was never going to be that.
So you're telling me definitively that the last good offer the Magic were going to get was on August 9th? 3 months before the season starts.Hell, two months before training camp starts.
There isn't a single reason this deal had to go down this week. None.
There wasn't one single imminent deadline.
Nothing.
There was zero reason for any team to make their best offer this week. NONE.
All you apologists explain that away with some concrete facts and reasoning. I'm listening.
Well?
