To think, we were basically on par with this team last year. They added pieces and got better, we basically did nothing and got worse. Great times to be a magic fan.

The best part is that Weltman's job is likely not even close to being in danger. Infuriating, really.

Progression isn’t linear, guys don’t always just level up every single season of their career. Rosters aren’t 100% healthy every season. Guys can fall off after they get paid. Lotto picks bust all the time.

I know a lot of us have thousands of posts on here but the realization that this organization isn’t serious about winning a title is a disappointing one. Seems like that changed somewhere between the Dwightmare, Rich DeVos’ health going downhill, and Martins becoming more involved.

That is what I'm scared of. They obviously feel pressure from the fans as they have referenced it in interviews. Make a big move to solidify a treadmill team and restart the tank in a few years would be so Magic.
