How much stock do you put into his 30 games at UNC somewhat maligned by injuries and role vs everything on tape before that? He has the look of a go-to guy, but his efficiency was terrible at UNC. I actually think he'll be a productive pro for a long time. I wouldn't be upset if the Magic took him. You'd be betting on his upside as a scorer. There are certainly other players I'd rather have over him, but you could do a lot worse at pick #15.
I really like where we're picking in this draft. A lot of good prospects to choose from. Our front office will have a good crop to pick from. It's up to them to earn their check.
To be fair he has been heralded against high school competition. And against college competition he wasn't as reliable. Maybe he's an Austin Rivers/OJ Mayo type who owned high school but not the NBA?
That said, he plays with that real Lillard swagger, where he looks a threat to jack a shot at any moment and uses that to get by his defender where he has nice moves and double clutches and hang time to keep the ball away from the defender and throw it up. Problem is he's considered a threat to jack a shot from anywhere because he is, and despite his skills he forces some bad, and badly contested shots.
