Hey I'll take it, a week ago you were saying we had zero chance to land Ellis

Yep. If he won't publicly commit to opting in, I'm guessing we go to plan "B", which is trading him for the best deal possible.

He is a pretty good defender, and UP UNTIL THIS YEAR in Milwaukee, he had been for like 6 years a 20-5-4 type guy. I don't think you just drop off all of a sudden for no real reason. He isn't injured, and his game was never really built on a lot of athleticism, so I think it's more a mental checkout than anything due to his situation.

bigpimpatl wrote:dude. stephen jax is terrible. We aren't getting the '09 or even '10 SJax. It's 2012; he plays like crap. Can't even get PT on a team like the bucks, still fighting for a playoff spot. Obviously you put anyone next to Dwight and they look better. But he'd still suck.
And why ignore this year? Do you think he'll magically turn everything around and be that player you think he is? No, it's not going to happen. And yes, you do drop off for no reason. See: Jameer Nelson, Hedo, and Rashard.

Him not playing for the Bucks isn't about him being terrible, it's about him not wanting to be there ..

Yes it is. And, if he doesn't want to be there, just think how poorly it reflects on him professionally. What happens when he gets into a disagreement with SVG?
