So you want to replace one intense micro-manager with an even more intense micro-manager?
Seriously.
Get a **** clue people. Stop bitching for the sake of bitching.
The OP makes no sense in his requests. Let Hedo play like Hedo, let Gilbert 'gun', let J-Rich be himself.
STAN IS! Hedo is arguably better than he's ever been. Gilbert is 'gunning' and not making shots. J-Rich has played damn well overall with a few 'off shooting' nights sprinkled in between. It's basketball, it happens.
What do you want this to be, streetball or something? Would you rather we become Phoenix or Golden State and abandon any and all types of defense? Coaching is systematic, get over it and deal with it. If you can't, then don't watch games.
People say we focus too much on 3-pointers, etc. WELL WHAT THE **** HAVE BOSTON AND L.A. DONE TO WIN THEIR TITLES?! Shoot 100 shots inside the paint? Hell no. They've won because they were hot enough to maintain good 3-point shooting.
Our defense is as good if not better than any team in the league (When we're focused, which we are in the playoffs). It's all about converting on your offensive plays and draining the shots that got you there.
AND YES, YOU HAVE TO COME UP WITH A BETTER COACHING OPTION THAN THE BEST ONE THIS FRANCHISE HAS EVER HAD!

All coaches have moments and instances that they would like to have back when it comes to games, play calling, rotations, substitutions, etc. Stan is the only one who admits them openly to the media. You don't see coaches being as open about their flaws as Stan is.
