New Translation: Coach Steve Clifford, with help from historically great RealGM poster Pepe, have decided that Cole Anthony is pure trash and his minutes will be funneled into Frank "Point Guard version of Khem Birch" Mason. Cole and Bamba will not be on the sidelines as they will be in the back streaming COD: Warzone on Twitch.

Average RealGm Orlando Magic fan trying to figure out player who is payed millions of dollars should be producting, not learning how to play sport on a spot.

Why so angry Pepe? It was a joke! Are you suggesting that Bamba and Cole are learning how to play the sport of Basketball just now on the Magic? Like we drafting NCAA football athletes and are teaching them the sport!?

Khem Birch isn't an NBA basketball player on pretty much any other team save maybe the Pistons.

Question: Since the Raptors are in Tampa, are they our rivals now? Because I like trolling their fans and would like to use the rivalry excuse.

Well, accoring to Ross, players had to tell Bamba that attending practices is good for you know... learning stuff and... according to common sense and logic, somebody should have told him that overeating and laying like a lazy slob without any cardio over covid lockdown will make him fat and out of shape . But hey, here we are :D

Oh just 2 more nuggets of "are you suggesting" - yes i do:
1. Gordon geting injuried by his brother during fist fight in rookie year (allegedly, probably got his as* whooped by somebody else)
2. Payton having no floor vision due his hair

Those guys are way dummer than you think. Nick Young almost choked trying to eat cinnamon in front of camera, Derick Rose almost ended his career by stabbing himself on a knife that he used to slice apple as he fell asleep....

As far as where would Birch play, for start, probably on Nets, Hornets, Nuggets. Center who knows his limitations and does not try stupid stuff and does not make many mistakes is very useful, especially on that price tag. At worst he he depth chart big that won't kill you if you use him. More than you can say about Bamba who can't even set proper screen, despite screening being one of most important things at his "job".

I think it is more about getting Cole some much needed rest.

Load managing Cole? I was unaware he was averaging 38mins a night and needed rest... ah well, who really knows.

Anthony is playing almost exactly 30 MPG since Fultz went down.

If his minutes go down in favor of soon to be 27 year old Frank Mason III, I'm just not sure what the hell we're even doing here.

wouldn't make any sense, i'm just going to assume he's taking bone's minutes and bone's minutes ONLY.....in a shot season i don't need to see frank mason playing more than cole

Get a good draft pick!
This is the year to do it! Don't hedge the future on making the playoffs in a throwaway year.

I have never supported tanking, however, when your roster has put you in a place where tanking is the only option, may as well lean in.

I think there is almost zero chance we gonna trade Vuc. 1st because of very limited trading options for a player type like Vuc on that contract. 2nd because WeHam need him to sell the vision of a big bounceback year to the ownership & fans to save there jobs. If they trade him, its rebuild time & there legacy are 2 first round exits as 7th-8th place (the 2nd with one of the worst records ever for a playoff team), while having a top 5 salary & the same team Henny drafted, while doing literally nothing in 4years, except drafting & signing bad end of the bench vets. They probably wont survive that.

Re: your 2nd point... I don't think anyone's drinking that kool-aide right now. The hardcore fans I know are done, and the mediocre fans I know have already forgotten that the Magic play basketball right now. The Magic are LITERALLY in the worst spot they could be in. They are completely irrelevant.

I'm loving the losses. Best direction we've been heading in since getting Dipo. Big games against Chicago coming up. Losing both would be HUGE! Come on Bulls!!!

Ummm I dont get it. I consider myself a hardcore magic fan and i do believe that they wont trade Vuc because they need him along with the star we are hoping to draft in trying to save their jobs.

As to the worst spot right now? It depends...i agree we suck BUT eith the impending and hopefuly trade of Evan and AG for assets plus the comeback of JI and Fultz along with the stud( pleasr please )we are hoping to draft, I actually like that scenario we are in.

Chuck this weird shortened asterisk season away and concentrate on the next season.

My comment was RE his 2nd point, not to trading Vuc. I think we should explore trading Vuc, but I know we're not trading Vuc, and I actually agree with him, there aren't good suitors who could offer an equal package in return. FWIW I don't want to trade Vuc because I don't like him, we just need to move on. And poor Vuc needs to be on a good team once. And we actually do need to commit to at least trying to develop Bamba, or just give up on him.

In regards to your last point, you're advocating for exactly what I'm saying. We need to move on from the old guard, throw this season away, move on with the new. When I say worst spot I mean where we are right now. There is no bright hope for *this current season*. Let's start to stack some more assets and get off some of these contracts and make way for the new guard.

Well to be accurate... there is a bright hope for this season. Its our place in the tank wars. We are what? #4 in this potential top5 draft? Lol its probably the only thing left im counting on in thia season.

What is amazing is that even though this is improbable, it is not impossible. Which leads me to a question.

Has a 2-way player ever started an NBA game?

I totally disagree with this thought line. It is my opinion that Birch would be welcomed as a 10-to-12 man on virtually any NBA roster. He has specific skills that work very well on a deep bench; starting with setting screens at an elite level.

He is a heart and hustle player that every NBA locker room loves.

I think the issue at hand is that Birch is a major-minutes bench player, and I do not believe that he would be playing game-in-and-out on at least 20 NBA rosters.

I really think that's too many minutes for a young player with this compressed schedule. Other rookies like Wiseman and Haliburton have taken nights off occasionally.
