They need to go get a table setter. That's it.

Happens all the time in most professional sports. Have a great win the day before and just completely blow the next game resting on your laurels.

This team is young and inexperienced. The roster still doesn’t really make sense. Never did since Weltman and co took over.

Can't agree with what? I didn't say anything unfactual lol. They led or were in every game for about a quarter of the season.

The first game they had no chance in was the Brooklyn game that ended our win streak, 20+ games into the season.

Since then, we got blown out vs. Boston, Philly, Minnty, etc.

But I can show you literally every team in the NBA getting blown out multiple times this year.

My point is since December and at home multiple times in not even close blow outs where they just quit fairly early. This team is getting butt rammed at home consistently now, that’s a bad sign.

I honestly don't think the team is always quitting, I honestly think that they are so overmatched because they can't shoot.

You can’t tell me they didn’t quit. They got blitz in the first and just quit. They stopped rotating on defense, they stopped going hard after loose balls, gave up offensive rebounds, left the paint open, they just settled for contested shots, that’s a sign of a team that quit. Down 30+ points but they didn’t quit…

Knightro wrote:Imagine thinking Mosley before the game sat everybody down in the locker room and told them the GAMEPLAN was...

"I want Wendell to get a certain amount of shots in the first half and I want you to seek him out for those shots because we like the Allen matchup"

Imagine thinking that with a straight face. Holy hell.

Imagine not being able to comprehend a comment properly.

Imagine thinking a coach doesn’t have a gameplan.

Imagine thinking there aren’t offensive focal points within a gameplan.

They weren't prepared of the speed Cleveland played with.

Yes, their offensive does affect their defense.

Just nonsense stuff from somebody who doesn't really understand basketball.

This from the guy who thinks plays don’t exist. No such thing as organisation and planning in basketball, it’s just “read and react” and “make or miss” empty rhetoric right?

Plays do exist. For guys who handle the basketball.

The Magic don't really call post ups for Wendell. They don't really let him work in isolation from the elbows. He doesn't get basically any traditional plays called specifically for him to take the basketball and try and attempt a shot.

He's the beneficiary sometimes of plays called for other people who draw defenders over and then pass him the ball. But that's not the friggin game plan for goodness sake.

Being a big who sets a screen and then becomes one of 3-4 possible options for a pass is not the coach deciding before the game that the plan of attack is center against a certain matchup.

My goodness.

The team would benefit greatly if the All Star break happened right now. We went through a tough stretch while banged up, lost some heartbreakers, still don't have a set lineup every night. I think that frustration has resulted in a loss of focus. We've been a terrible shooting team the whole way, that's just who we are. But our defensive intensity has slipped and we're killing ourselves more than we did early on. I believe we can get back to that. Doesn't make things any more fun right now, however.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Which tells me they still have a losers mentality and have a long way to go still despite the clear shooting deficiencies in the roster. I’m not saying they should have won this game but you allow a team to waltz to a 30+ lead at home, in front on your home fans that says a lot.
