kwame had a decent season last year - 8ppg 7rpg in 26 minutes - and i would say that he looked better than biedrins did last season- woj says he's likely to start in GSW because of his defensive abilities (and Mark's new philosophy), and to be fair, kwame is an above average post defender, it's just that he doesn't have the ability to catch a ball.
i know GSW owners are new and they're excited but are they really going to pay $10mil to biedrins to be the 3rd guy off the bench? (ekpe udoh 6th man, klay thompson next man in, then biedrins) this has to mean they're willing to trade him to a team with deeper pockets (hey! that's us!)
ellis ($11mil) + biedrins ($9mil) for jrich ($6.5mil) + jameer ($8) + jj (6.75) could theoretically work before the deadline (but after march 1st) ... seems like we're giving up a quite a bit tho huh?

For me personally i'd love to go after Humphries (full MLE) but NJ wouldn't prob let that happen so Plan B would be Etan or Damp. Btw, love Earl Clark's potential but we seem loaded with 3/4's.. Also, could see Otis going after Reggie too for rebound purposes.

I'd consider Reggie Evans, Erick Dampier & my very own (fellow Belgian) DJ Mbenga
Mbenga would be a great backup. He can't spell "offense" but Phil Jackson called him a fantastic defensive big + DJ learned A LOT from playing with the Lakers. Very good athlete, great defender
