RT @WindhorstESPN: Eddy Curry did not make it thru 2nd practice with Heat, has now sat out 3rd & 4th. This experiment could be short-lived.

lol, would be funny.

Alot of us wouldn't do JJ + Ryan for Jackson.. The question is what could these two realistically get you? Theyre bench players on 95% of the league..

Reggie Williams still an option?
@stevekylerNBA Steve Kyler
RT @Scoop3013: heard Reggie Williams is leaving Golden State and Magic were interested any truth? ---> yes as were a dozen other teams.

About possible more deals/signings:
@stevekylerNBA Steve Kyler
RT @james_frazier: Whose on the Magic radar with their MLE? ---> not sure they are using it.

@stevekylerNBA Steve Kyler
RT @msj444: So no more deals for Orlando! This is it? Can we still get Hibachi back!? ---> No... just not big free agent deals..

@stevekylerNBA Steve Kyler
RT @magicfanzone12: do you know of any Centers that the magic might be looking at? ---> Not feeling Daniel Orton? DO says he's ready to go.

brown going to GS is a good thing for us, gentlmen-

kwame had a decent season last year - 8ppg 7rpg in 26 minutes - and i would say that he looked better than biedrins did last season- woj says he's likely to start in GSW because of his defensive abilities (and Mark's new philosophy), and to be fair, kwame is an above average post defender, it's just that he doesn't have the ability to catch a ball.

i know GSW owners are new and they're excited but are they really going to pay $10mil to biedrins to be the 3rd guy off the bench? (ekpe udoh 6th man, klay thompson next man in, then biedrins) this has to mean they're willing to trade him to a team with deeper pockets (hey! that's us!)

ellis ($11mil) + biedrins ($9mil) for jrich ($6.5mil) + jameer ($8) + jj (6.75) could theoretically work before the deadline (but after march 1st) ... seems like we're giving up a quite a bit tho huh?

I highly doubt Ellis gets moved, he's Mark Jackson's project now.

For me personally i'd love to go after Humphries (full MLE) but NJ wouldn't prob let that happen so Plan B would be Etan or Damp. Btw, love Earl Clark's potential but we seem loaded with 3/4's.. Also, could see Otis going after Reggie too for rebound purposes.

I'd consider Reggie Evans, Erick Dampier & my very own (fellow Belgian 8-)) DJ Mbenga :)

Mbenga would be a great backup. He can't spell "offense" but Phil Jackson called him a fantastic defensive big + DJ learned A LOT from playing with the Lakers. Very good athlete, great defender

As much as I'd like to keep Clark, we need a backup center just in case. I'm thinking Otis is having a hard time deciding on using the MLE on Clark or another backup C to anchor D12 and Orton.

so on march 1st, i say we do two deals

ryan + Q for OJ

then jrcih+jameer+jj for ellis+biedrins

(curry is jackson's project not so much ellis- why? jackson was a PG who operated well with a smooth shooting SG (reggie) or a dominant big (ewing) jrich and jj fit that SG mold much better - and has natural SG size - than ellis does- also mark jackson and van gundy were going bonkers over what barea did off the bench in P&R and getting his own shot - nelson can do that in a similar role, only better)

so a week into march we're looking at

ellis-oj-hedo-bbd-dwight as a starting 5

i like.
