LAC could team up dwight and CP3 which ensures their long term stay while CP3 is still only committed through 2013 when BOTH he and blake could leave

Then can we offer Nelson and Gerald Wallace for Deron? Lol.

Actually, we'd still be in play to sign Deron in the offseason since the Nets wouldn't have much more to offer him as far as winning goes.

Could switch Redick for Richardson but needed to make salaries work

Oooooooo....I'm gonna combine that with my idea and work out a new one. I love it!

Out of Dwight's preferred destinations, the Lakers will give us the most. We can turn Gasol into picks and see what Bynum can do for us in the meantime before he expires. Someone has to fill our 85% cap space. I think knowing the Mavs can pick him up in free agency might make the Lakers give us a better bid.

Please for the love of god, do not trade Dwight to the Lakers! I would rather take Lopez and there trash picks because then we can tank properly.

Dwight needs to expand his list or something, we have nothing to work with.. I would actually get excited if we can get teams like thunder, clippers, warriors, kings, etc involved or 3-4 team trade,,,ahh

Yet again, Gil's amnestied salary of $20 mil counts towards the 85% salary floor, so that isn't an issue.

What is this obsession with getting PICKS? What's the last good thing we did with a pick? Dwight and Meer 7 years ago? I mean cmon. You really think you're going to get a better talent with a pick or two than either Pau or Martin+Scola+(since you love them - Houston's PICK - which will be quite high since Houston is going to suck this year in the West, esp after this trade)??? RDV wants to win, and he wants to win NOW. Not to completely rebuild in 5-7 years, only to see whoever we land with our picks jetset to NYC or LA. I highly doubt this team is going to go into full-fledged rebuild mode.

Anyways, here is my proposed trade, and it nets us Houston's 1st round pick next summer as well, which should land us a nice young talent as it will probably be high (hell, I could see Houston getting a top 5 pick, they might become one of the worst teams in the league after the trade).

Now our lineup is:

Meer/Hughes
Martin/Jrich
Iggy/Jrich
Scola/BBD
Bynum/BBD

Bynum+Scola+Iggy+Martin with JRich coming off bench as our pure scorer and BBD as our glue-guy is sure better than what we have now in Dwight, Jrich, Hedo, BBD with JJ and Ryan coming off bench.

No?

That's it. Let's trade him so we can move on from all the drama and uncertainty.

Lakers, offer us a package of Bynum/Gasol and we'll go from there.

Nets, call the Hawks and lets arrange a 3-way deal involving Lopez/Josh Smith/Future 1st for Dwight/Hedo.

I'm fed up with this crap. Let's move on from this center of attention fiend, Dwight.

Otis, my patience is wearing thin. Where's Bower when you need him? Heck, where's Gabe even?

Is there a rule about trading half your roster, haha. Well, it's definitely a change. So for Iggy, you're banking on Philly wanting Ryan's contract? I'm just trying to see the incentive in that trade for them. Otherwise, I agree with moving Pau to Houston similar to the old NOH deal.

Still hoping we keep Dwight somehow. A good season, a good trade..

If a deal must go down,

I'm starting to warm up to the Lakers deal because of how ridiculous Otis would take on 30yr Crash and lose picks. But only if we flip Bynum in advance. I say this becuase Bynum has too many immaturity and health issues. I have said this, and I'll say it again, he would be Grant Hill pt.2, and he doesn't have to be injured as often. Just the history and the fact of his reputation so far, and then the loss of chemistry from his erratic play time. I would rather take Lopez for this team if NJ made the offer better in a different 3/4 way, he has a way more marketable and mature personality to be a loyal Magic. He also has tremendous offense despite his d.

We're in a pretty bad way if we're really looking to trade Dwight. I would suggest Riley and the Clips to think on D12 for LBJ or Blake deals like we're mentioning already. Likely going to say no, but these are potential teams that if Dwight knew he was going to play with CP3 or Wade/Bosh, he'd extend. Curry is another option if Dwight would go with Ellis.

people please think logically. I know some of us are intrigued with the thought of Bynum and gasol in the line up but you guys are forgetting the important fact. BYNUMS KNEES LAST ONLY 1/3 A SEASON. #thatisall

I have never seen this, and I don't think I should, it will ruin my image of him. As far as I know, he is one of the most prolific scorers in the NBA.
