Would you guys rather have Ellis take over the game, or someone like hedo, meer, or ryan being shut down about 3/4 of the games that really matter?

Ellis may take 16-20 shots per game... but when the going gets tough and our offense becomes stalled/stagnant, because defenders (like Atlanta, Boston, etc) are staying home on our spot up shooters, and single covering Dwight late in the games... we need a guy like Ellis to create for himself and take shots. I don't see that as a bad thing. Lebron, Wade, and Bosh all take a bunch of shots, and they make it work. Kobe takes like 30 shots and both Gasol & Bynum somehow still manage to put up 18/10 a piece. I don't see any problem with Ellis playing with Howard. A dynamic guard paired with a dominant big man... I don't see what the fuss is all about. And if the fuss is about depth... uhh, well it's time to groom and develop Harper at PF, plus we get back Wright, who's a good SF... and we still have Wafer, J-Rich, Ish, and Liggins in the back-court; and Nelson can come off the bench... role players are replaceable. I like Redick and Ryan a lot, but come on... when is the next chance we can get a star guard like Ellis to pair with our star (Dwight)? We haven't had a legit star in the back-court to pair with Dwight since Steve Francis, and back then Dwight was just a rookie/undeveloped.
