2 issues are holding things up
1. Rob still wanted to work on changing Dwight's mind. Call it foolish or shortsighted, but I really don't see the downside. Everything that's come out of this last meeting has been either the same as before or slightly better (he's willing to go to LA).
2. Crappy trade offers. As much as I think Rob wanted another shot at changing Dwight's mind, I think a deal would have been done if it was good. Come on, Anderson Verajao and a 1st round draft pick from the Kings that could end up as a 2nd rounder or no pick at all? Brook Lopez for the max? This is as much as Rob has said - he'll make a trade that's good for the team. We can judge him when a trade does occur, but I can't see filling in the information gaps when the reports have been so inaccurate (Bucher at ESPN, Woj at Yahoo, Broussard at ESPN and Alex Kennedy) or biased (J. Rudolph).
