Just finished the game—here are my thoughts based on both the box score and the eye test:

This game was all about the transition from the 1st to the 2nd quarter.

V: Queen really shined—best performance of the night.

C; Over the course of the game, I kind of liked Black’s intensity—underrated effort.

M: Harris deserves a shoutout for the midgame burst—he went full anti-Zombie with 10 points. WOW.

In conclusion: Lollipops for everyone in this literal pointless game.
No injuries. Well done, Coach.

I’ve been asking since December for the Magic to open a roster spot so we can sign Queen to an NBA 15-man roster contract so we can use him for the postseason. Jeff did nothing when it’s very clear we need his energy on both ends of the floor.

The problem is... if they had opened up a roster spot in December, it would have been Houstan or CoJo gone and they're both rotation players currently.

I’m not defending Jett but TQ is 28 and has been playing games in different professional leagues for years.

It’s easy to move on from Jett.

For clarity, I do not seen Queen as an NBA level talent; as he does not have the career to suggest he is competent to play back-up SG in the NBA.

But: wow was he ace in this scrub game!!!!!

p.s. I agree that, to use your words, "It’s easy to move on from Jett".

EDIT: off-topic, but Houstan's defense was acceptable. Notably, he was very good at playing system defense. A skill that took Redick years to learn.
If Houstan can be :this guy: every game, he deserves a new LLE contract. His 1st quarter was amazing defensively.

No reason not to keep Caleb as 14/15th man unless he wants more than league minimum.
