Yeah, next stop for him is finishing, he can create some space with his mobility and solid handles but that all goes away when he just cant get his shot up after he get's near basket. I hope he will work on that, because even though he will never be elite finisher still there are ways to improve on that.

prolly just me, but i swear he looked a lot better finishing those instant layup passes from Ben, the past couple of months. that would be an improvement in regards to speeding something up, or at least getting comfortable with it. just like he's worked on his 3 point game. and bodying up. i think Dario's best days are still ahead.

Yeah he has actually gotten better, and was dunking on finishes for a while there. Not every guy who makes layups can play above the rim, he has to learn how to use his body alot more on layups around the rim. If he gets more body control to throw it into the defender (he's not a lil guy), he might get some more foul calls and improve in that area in general.

He has to learn how to sell fouls. Look at guys like Harden who jerks violently every time it even looks like someone touches him.

Thats the main reason I hate watching Harden play, but it is effective.

Dario really never gets a call, sometimes he should just call the police instead of looking at the refs.

Dario has improved in so many areas.

Around the rim, his pump fakes and creative moves sometimes work, but he should try to pass out and reset. Most defenders have too much length.

I like how he is getting more charges by getting good position or flopping like Ersan.

As long as he stretches the floor and situationally playmakes as well as he has been Dario fits the prequisite as a starting 4 man in today's nba. He is quick enough and long enough to decently defend. He slots in next to Embiid ideally as a starter for years.

This postseason has been a teaching moment for Dario. Still, i feel a lot of people are too harsh on him. This is his first playoff experience and he will only get better from here. Despite his lack of athelticims i thought he did pretty well on defense in Boston series. On offense he has struggled mightly scoring around the rim. His lack of wingspan and athleticims got exposed, still it is something that he can get better at by using more floaters, flip shots and some reverse layups.

There are only a few guys who don`t struggle in the playoffs. Even DeRozan got benched last night.

Dario, for all of his flaws, has added things to his game over the course of his two seasons. Dude seems to understand what he needs to do to get better. He added arc to his shot this past offseason, he should now work on his body and find counters to get cleaner looks.

Dario is the one guy I am not too worried about.

While Dario hasn't had a great series, i agree with the above, he really seems to be a student of the game, and is improving, I think for a 3rd/4th option type guy he's fabulous.

I think this playoff is going to be a great growing lesson (though a painful one) for our team.

I'm not worried about Saric either, but if the Sixers make a trade this summer, I am confident he'll be one of the guys in the trade package.

He should be coming in off the bench. He is the sort of energy guy you want that can create something. In his mind though he is a starter and for that reason I don't see him here long term.

I am all for trading him in a package for an all-star/all-pro.

I am not willing to pay what will be required to keep him, and his trade value will only decline as his rookie deal nears its end. This summer is the ideal time to send him off.

He can learn a thing or two from Horford and specially, Morris. You don’t need good athleticism to excel.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Well yes he has alot to learn still. This is his 2nd year in NBA so its not much of a surprise. But considering his growthrate im not worried.
He is adapting to the playoffs settings quite well slowly.
Growing pains. Thing is im not even sure how much and in what ways he can still grow. He still can. But he exceeded expectations in things he improved i cant even realisticly tell what is his ceeling or how much in what areas he can grow.

Dario is simply a warrior. He had his ups and downs, but for his first post-season, that wasn't bad at all.
He'll continue to grow. I actually think he's your best post player, pretty sure his last 2 games instilled fear into the heart of every Boston fan. This standing layup over his head with his back to the rim was really something else.

He played really well in the last game, kudos. He will continue to thrive in the NBA, and come back again, as a much improved player. The guy is a workhorse and a gym rat, he will overcome all of his limitations, and become a multiple All-Star.

I must say he adapted to every situation and rose to every occasion. When it got tough and couldnt produce he changed his game and killed it again. Guy keeps improving

Talk about a baller on a budget.
