Multiple future 1sts to move up from #3 to #2? Hell no.
They don't want Harper. Call their bluff.
Well to be fair the twitter says "could offer". It didn't say we would

Don't panic, sit tight, and let other teams overreact and trade WAY too much for a player with high bust potential.
I'd focus on finding a way to move PG to get away from his contract and add quality depth at the wing. Also to add backups that aren't almost 40 years old...

I'm all for trading back as some of my top guys are in the 6-10 ranges, but if we're staying pat, I think I'm fully in on VJ. Him cramming on those big men in the FIBA games changes my view on him. I also believe in his shot form much more than Harper and Bailey.

I'm in agreement on VJ. I this his floor is a lot higher than Ass or Harper, which is what we need now. His defense and energy alone will get him minutes.
I actually like what Bill Simmons mentioned on his pod about us adding another guard with McCain and Maxey. Look at the Pacers - it's pretty nice if you have 4-5 capable guards. My concern is mortgaging more picks to do so.

1. Givony and Duncan are Baileyvers at #3 overall. Ace learned and grew a lot throughout the year.
2. Duncan is low on VJ, no star potential. Givony says VJ's college tape wasn't star quality, but his FIBA play was better.
3. Maluach won't be a great rim protector, but should be switchable and may become a good shooter.
4. Nipples has some star equity and could rise into the top 5. They think he should be able to hold up on D.

Anything on Tre Johnson or Dylan Harper?

We already have another good guard named Quentin Grimes. Adding VJ is overkill, and we don't need someone with a high floor, we need someone with a high ceiling.

We already have a future HOFer at SF/PF named Paul George and a nice young SF in Justin Edwards. Also we have Kelly Oubre off the bench. Adding Bailey is overkill, we don't need someone who is an ISO midrange shooter, we need someone who plays off ball with a 2-way high ceiling.

Isn’t Ace a better off ball shooter then VJ from 3 and midrange?

Ace will be an excellent 3&D forward to start. No one better than Daryl Morey to fix his "shot diet."
You haters seem to think Ace can't learn something that simple with pro coaching? Yet VJ will magically develop in all facets of his lacking offensive game?

Edit - the last time an LAC unprotected 1st was traded, it turned into Kyrie Irving.
