I don't see how a trade up to #1 would happen with Cleveland though. With all due respect, the 3rd pick lost a TON of value in Cleveland's eyes once Embiid got hurt, especially since the Cavaliers don't need a PG or SG (Exxum). I was thinking if the injury do Embiid isn't too bad then maybe Cleveland does a 1 for 3/10 trade and takes Joel at 3, but the injury seems like the worst type you can have for a big man.
Cleveland's asking price for that #1 pick has gone up and I don't think Philly would be willing to meet it. 3 and 10 will not get it done. I think Cleveland might want 5 and Favors from Utah. That deal could work. That is good value for Cleveland because there is a chance Embiid falls to 5 and Favors is a 22 year old rookie center/pf on a very reasonable 4 year contract
We don't know that. For all we know they like Exum just as much as Wiggins or close to as much. We don't know their draft board. It's impossible to say at this point since we don't know how Cleveland values different players in the draft. The only thing we know if they loved Embiid before he got hurt.
