Way to early to put any label on him or limit his potential. He's a 6' 8" F who can shoot, put the ball on the floor and rebound. He's also above average athleticially. His potential is through the roof--franchise caliber talent. However with what he showed last year his floor is Kwame Brown. He's got all the talent in the world but it will be up to him.
This.
We can't worry about how he will be used or how he will fit with Noel, Joel or Saric at this point. We are so far away from being a contender and all of these guys are 20 years old!
Any one of them could turn into a superstar(or at least an allstar) and any of them could bust.
Next year if we get the first pick we take Okafor without a second thought and just add him into the mix. 2 years down the line we will know more about what we have, and how they fit. At that point we can trade one or more of them for wing talent.
I am thrilled to get a talent like Bennett on this team, and we are only losing Thad. We all love Thad and what he brought to this team, but he had one foot out the door.
Bennett > Thad for us.
