The appeal of Springer is steal rate, block rate, and free throw percentage suggesting safe bet for eventual 3&D excellence. Also, enough shotcreating base for a potential bloom in 3-4 years on the ball. Looks like a lock to be a worthy rotation player on a contender. Even a chance of stardom if everything comes together as a creator (longshot but not impossible).

The more the merrier and talent is talent.
For us we’d take more then one young guard prospect that’s for certain lol.
I get the Biid window but a part of that is identifying and cultivating the correct prospect long term organically. Good players on rookie sized contracts are literal gold playing under a cap.
Maxey + Springer is excellent both well get plenty of minutes to play and develop.
