I mean everyone got their own opinions, I respect that but honestly I never imagined this WC would be so good for few reasons

1 different time of the year than all previous World Cups

2 one of the major contenders Italy didn’t qualify

3 is in Qatar , so one would’ve thought they got zero experience hosting tournament of this magnitude ( so far they doing amazing job )

What does the host nation have to do with the actual quality of the games? I get all the logistical details and whatnot. But what happens on the field is down to the players and totally independent from where those patches of grass happen to be located.

1 all training facilities is within 10 miles radius from main stadiums

2 all lodging is within 10 miles from main arenas

3 if some people can cut out political agendas from the Soccer tournament would’ve be even better , look ahead what’s coming , I’ll tell you what’s coming next , probably worst possible World Cup ever

2 16 groups 3 teams each , means there will be fixing games at the highest rate with two teams playing last game and third team sitting in a hotel and watching them being screwed up

Australia is not in Asia. In fact is this first time that teams from all 6 living continents (Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, South America) have at least 1 team in knock-out stage?

This is probably Suarez and Cavani's last World Cup. It was interesting listening to Forlan giving the commentary on telemnundo while his team was losing.

he was pissed but trying to be objective... clearly he didn't agree with our National Coach Alonso's preparation from the start of the tournament, questioned a lot however laid it on the players as well.

we needed his set pieces kicking skills. lol

had we be in 3 team groups this run, the likes of Japan, Korea would've never qualify.....

no, i've watched bits and pieces of the last couple. i'm a typical dumb american when it comes to soccer but i'm learning more and liking the game the more i watch. and i watch more with every major tournament. used to be just a world cup person but i tuned in to the latest round of the euros and whatever alphabet soup the north american one is called
