It really is amazing how much they are struggling without Irving.

Celtics with Irving and no Hayward: 12-2.
Cav's with no Irving: 6-7 (Soon to be 6-8).

Only down 7

Knicks with the tank job. LMAO. Just like the Mav's who were winning damn near all game and let the Cavs walk away with the W late in the 4th.

I checked this game pretty early, like in the 3rd qtr and Ntilikina had 6 steals...he ended with that. He looks like he's going to be very good defensively. In some games he's had quite a few assists too. They had a lot of players play well tonight in addition to Porzingis...Hardaway, Kanter, Lee.

Sucks the Grizzlies blew their lead on the Bucks.

Nikitina is a good PG to put next to Booker and Jackson... Jackson and Nikitina as defensive hounds would be amazing, just like Spurs with Green and Kawhi... only those 2 are good 3pt shooters too.

We need to figure out this pg situation. Mike James is a bench warmer at best and Ulis is too small and young to carry the load by himself. I suggest we either cut James' minutes completely and start with Josh and Book running the 1 or we make a move. If we do make a trade, it seems like Dennis Schroeder will be a good fit to make our big three of Dennis, Book and TJ. I wonder what the Hawks would want; I would expect just cap space and a first, so a deal like Mike James, Greg Monroe and a first for Dennis and a filler should get it done. Once we get our pg and draft a big-man, I would be thrilled with calling the rebuild there...

Other options I really like include: Rozier, Avery Bradley or a rejuvenated Brandon Knight :D :D

Well......looking at the list of FA's.....and more specifically Point Guards.... We could maybe sign.....Bradley or Lin? (Doubt Detroit lets Bradley go)

Lots of top tier talent that has no chance in signing here (Lebron/Durant/CP3/Cousins/PG13/IT)

Almost all the middle tier or up-and-coming talent are restricted FA's that are likely to be re-signed.

Very slim pickings. Might have to make a trade for one or hope that something within Knight finally clicks.

Maybe we already have our PG and C for next year with Knight and Monroe? Just need either Ayton or Doncic in the draft and we are set.

I'm not keen at all to rely on Knight to 'return' to form

Trade for Jordan Clarkson who isn't in the Lakers future plans.

I'd trade for Clarkson. How do we get them to throw in Randle as well?

Bringing in Clarkson makes no sense considering we have so many Brandon Knight haters on this board.

I vomited. Twice.

What makes you think either of them are good as far as their actual numbers go?

I can get Randle on potential. He is still young and athletic, but whether he tries depends on the game. It is literally a game by game mood swing as to weather he wants to play hard, and he also does not put up good numbers a lot of the time. He is also an RFA who a team will probably overpay based on his potential alone.

I cannot think of a single redeeming quality of Clarkson. I think he is among the most overrated players in the NBA, and the numbers tend to bear that out.

Chriss and Bender are arguably already better than Randle and have 1 year in the league, Randle brings nothing to this team either.

It's really weird to me how many people hated Bled for his ball stopping and chucking too much, then hated IT for that reason, then hated Knight for that reason, then wanted to bring in Kyrie (obviously better than the rest but still a ballstopping chucker while in Cleveland), then a small surge for Reggie Jackson, and now some want Jordan Clarkson. :o

Bled is probably the least ballstopping of the group and he was always complained about. IT was absolutely brutalized on here and then people said we got too little for him after the fact

I never hated on IT. If I remember correctly he bought a house in the valley like a week before the trade deadline, so for that reason, I figured he was in our long-term plans. Then all of a sudden he was traded, and I didn't really like it. I don't remember him asking for a trade publicly. I do recall him being a bit disgruntled coming off the bench, but trading him and Dragic for Knight didn't really make sense IMO, but McD thought he was getting the next James Harden so whatever.

I think we are all on the "trade for Schroder" bandwagon right now if the price is right. He fits our timeline, though his hairline needs to be worked on. I could see Sarver liking the idea because Schroder is getting paid 15.5mil a year for the next 4 years, which isn't a bad contract in today's NBA.

I’ll admit I’m not following the Hawks that closely, but is there some reason to believe they’d be into moving Schröder? Doesn’t seem that likely on the surface.

They are in year 1 of their rebuild and Schroder is 24. They could trade him now and get a pick such as the Miami one. Though I would only give up the Bucks pick and Monroe as an expiring contract.

On 2nd thought, rather just keep our picks and cap space. See what Knight can do after coming back from injury with no pressure on keeping his playing time.

Funny how we now end up with both these players

Not saying he is, but I'd personally rather have Ulis start with Booker to be a pass-first style PG and Knight to be a 1st option with the 2nd unit or be a 2nd or 3rd option with Booker and Warren out there.

I'm also really glad Warren is getting a chance to be the scorer that he was touted to be out of college. We could potentially have 2 of the best young wings in the game if Warren improve his Def a bit and Jackson to Improve his shot. As dire as it seems now, I'm very excited for the future.

I like TJ defensively. I think he's pretty underrated on the defensive end.

I don't really care if he never develops a 3. Instead of 3&D player, he's more of a... O&D player? Does that have to be a thing now?

Ya I agree he's underrated. I'm just saying that if there is a way that he could get close to Jackson defensively and Jackson can get close to warren offensively, we would have a devestating 1-2-3 punch with Booker

When I look at this Suns team - like many have said, the team needs a PG. James is a good role player type - I see him like JJ Barea. Smaller, but can come in, and certain games will just light it up for a bit, get like 8 points, a few assists in a short period of time. I see Ulis as the same type of player. So that means two bench PGs who are smallish in size.

Mudiay and Faried for Monroe - this saves the Nuggets money next year if they need cap space. Granted, do they need Mudiay this year after releasing Jameer Nelson - my guess, probably.

Its too bad Brandon Knight is hurt as this would be the right year, a pseudo tank year to see if he as a guy playing the 1 - is better.

I am really impressed with Warren and Booker. I just think Josh Jackson needs more time. Bender and chriss - with a little coaching from Triano - have improved I think

I go agree, get PG and a big man and the rebuild is done and its time to grow the team.
