NOTICE I also said it would need to be figured out if his decline came because of him, or the system and terrible fit with the players around him.... all in the form of a question.. because so many of the absolutely excellent basketball minds around here were absolutely right about Pau Gasol being the worst player we could looed to trade for and the fact that his career was over!!! Not suprised at the usual quick to judgement response by some of you.... but since unlike you I have not recently talked to bargs and played a few games of pickup with him... I havnt been able to form a rational opinion about his current game. I glad a few on here have that firsthand knowledge and can let me know exactly whats going on in his personal life, thanks guys.
You really think they would cut him JD?... I wouldnt go get him prsonally unless the Suns tired of the Morri and decided to part ways.

There have already been reports of a buy out being considered. It seems like he hasn't played in 2 years and he doesn't fit into the Knicks future. The league knows and the only thing holding up a buyout is the fleeting hope that some team will give up something to get an expiring. The Knicks won't take salary because they want to play in free agency next yr.

At which point was that? I was a Bargs fan when he still had that "Il Mago" sheen to him, but the guy hasn't been productive for almost half a decade. Even if he was worth a damn on offense as a stretch-4(note: he hasn't shot above 31% from 3 since 2010-2011), he's an absolute defensive sieve. Our offense is #5 in the league right now, while our defense is in the 20s. Even a "prime" Bargnani(if there ever was one) wouldn't be helpful to this squad.

One makes a positive impact on the court; the other doesn't.

This board right now, why can't you keep cousins name out of your mouths!?!? And bargs? Please tell me what he's going to do to help us take the next step?

It makes sense that Plumlee probably will be traded once the team got Wright plus they are playing so well with Len in the starting lineup

Plumlee should be pretty easy to move for a second round pick - he is signed for a reasonable amount

Its Isiah Thomas - can that contract be moved? That is the question for me

Green is expiring so it doesn't matter - unless you covet second round draft choices. As that is about all Green is worth. Unless he is attached to a trade and you are say trading for a contract and need 3.5m of cap space to make it work.

Nets fan here. What would a deal for Miles look like from your perspective?

Brooklyn's fresh air would be enough.

I love the idea of moving Plumlee but is it the right move? Suns will need a big if Len or Wright get in foul trouble. Is Plumlee getting traded for another backup center? If we get a draft pick for him, we're still going to need to pick up a center anyways.

Don't get me wrong, I want Plumlee traded BAD but if you really think about it, we have it good with him knowing the offense and only making a mil and some change.

I think what happens - Suns trade Plumlee for future 2nd rounder and sign Earl Barron.

Plumlee to Brooklyn with IT for Lopez. So now brooklyn can have their own set of brothers.

This is exactly the plan I would think. Its just not about this year but its also about getting your "cap space" ready for the summer of 2015.

Plumlee is still an asset. He may have stone hands but he plays productive minutes, is legit 7 feet, and athletic. You don't trade those away while still on a rookie deal for a season and a half for a 2nd rounder.

Looks like Plumlee may have asked for a trade. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/12190 ... es-plumlee I wonder if he will be part of a bigger package.

We want "at least a first round pick"... so we are not selling low. Mavs and Miami can use a C around 18 minutes per game, they can be trade partners.

We already Kieff at the 5 in spot minutes when we go with a small-ball lineup. I think we should be fine in terms of depth. Although I would've liked another big body for practice

Cavs also wants "athletic center" i guess.
