It's a huge risk. If he turns out only to be decent, you're going to be mediocre for years. And even if he's a star, you've given up a lot of talent and you could still be a mid-tier team in the West.
Bledsoe is a risk--injury, chemistry, and otherwise. Green is a FA next year and is our 4th best guard. Goodwin is our 5th best guard and probably won't play significant minutes until his rookie deal is up. Let's not pretend like what we're giving up is riskless. Getting a star potential SF while giving up our 2nd, 4th, and 5th best guards isn't a lose situation imo.
