My understanding is the only control the captains have is who is selected from a pool of (already picked) allstars.

Booker was also ranked #3 for the question "Who is the best pure shooter in the NBA?". I think that's a bit generous cause guys like Beal, McCollum etc are ahead of him at least at this time.

He had 4% of the vote... which means 1 GM voted for him.

And it was the Warriors GM because he couldn't vote for Klay or Curry.

But still if he can't vote for splash bro and the first name that came to his head was Booker it's nice.

And I bet he called Booker afterwards and said "you know it was me, right? So when you are looking at a new contract, remember this"

Toronto Raptors guard Norman Powell has agreed to a four-year, $42 million contract extension, league sources told ESPN on Thursday.

The deal, which starts with the 2018-19 season, includes a player option on the fourth year, league sources said.

Damn that's a steal. Powell is like a more athletic, higher IQ, better offensive version of Tucker.

I am not so sure about it. He can not defend frontcourt players as PJ, he is way smaller and not as strong. Better shooter, that's true.

He looks a solid 3&D SG, but players like that are all over the league. I like him as a role player and I think that this is an OK deal, similar to Josh Richardson's contract.

I think Warren and his agent should be feeling very happy after seeing the kind of contracts guys like Powell and Richardson have all got. Warren is a better inside scorer than them but their both much better defenders and 3pt shooters than Warren.

I think that Warren is on another higher tier as a player. More special player than a 3&D SG.

Shelby miller missed all this season and will miss part of next year for this injury for the d-backs. I haven't looked at the update yet but thats good news for them.

From what I read of our practices I think we'll close out games with Bledsoe, Booker, Warren, Jackson, Chriss but start with Chandler.
