My understanding is the only control the captains have is who is selected from a pool of (already picked) allstars.

Which active player will make the best head coach someday?
....
Also receiving votes: Devin Booker, Phoenix;

Booker was also ranked #3 for the question "Who is the best pure shooter in the NBA?". I think that's a bit generous cause guys like Beal, McCollum etc are ahead of him at least at this time.

He had 4% of the vote... which means 1 GM voted for him.
And I bet he called Booker afterwards and said "you know it was me, right? So when you are looking at a new contract, remember this"gaspar wrote:n4th4n4 wrote:Revived wrote:

And it was the Warriors GM because he couldn't vote for Klay or Curry.
Toronto Raptors guard Norman Powell has agreed to a four-year, $42 million contract extension, league sources told ESPN on Thursday.
The deal, which starts with the 2018-19 season, includes a player option on the fourth year, league sources said.

I am not so sure about it. He can not defend frontcourt players as PJ, he is way smaller and not as strong. Better shooter, that's true.
He looks a solid 3&D SG, but players like that are all over the league. I like him as a role player and I think that this is an OK deal, similar to Josh Richardson's contract.

I think Warren and his agent should be feeling very happy after seeing the kind of contracts guys like Powell and Richardson have all got. Warren is a better inside scorer than them but their both much better defenders and 3pt shooters than Warren.

He was upgraded per Wiretap. Only out 8-12 weeks now.
