His name is Codeman, and he usually releases info, but in coded form. That way it keeps it a bit of a mystery for the board to try to figure out, and ends up making perfect sense after the trade is done. His latest post:
Codeman wrote:Well, as usual, the injury bug has hit again. We're getting over one and fighting another (Dwight), but Dwight is a fighter and a great glue guy on the bench.
I wonder how Chandler feels about helping to recruit him here. I know I'm thankful. Dwight did return the favor though.
DM is the best when it comes to finding unhappiness among teams outside of Texas. It's a wait and see sort of method, followed by some sort of chemistry analysis that I'm not privy to.
I never claim to be an insider like Woj/ForD/etc, but I just call it how I hear it. Environment can be everything for a player. A Homecoming sometimes feels good. Take Josh Smith. He's the happiest man around since leaving Screechin'Stan and seeing his bro.
I just hope for the best.
I have seen some of these codes from him before and this is usually how the answer to the riddle looks.
Unhappiness among teams outside Texas = Suns with the MoBros.
Homecoming = Marcus coming back to Houston.
His bro = Markieff.
Moti/Jones/Capella/Terry/NOP 1st for MorrisX2/Plumlee
Well that's kind of a leap, but who knows?
Maybe I haven't been reading enough Suns news but are the twins really unhappy in Phoenix? Is Phoenix really unhappy with them? Kieff's been pretty important for us this year and is on a killer deal.
I think pretty much everyone besides Bledsoe/Tucker/Wright/Len are on the block.
With Marcus going off on Horney, and the twins being the main reasoning for the "Benched-for-a-Tech" rule, i believe our patience with this has grown very very thin.
One of my IRL friends who has a bit of inside info informed me that the twins are on very thin ice with the FO. We have somewhat put them on the block for a few weeks now, and the recent attitude is because they know they are on the block and could be traded to different teams, splitting them up. McD is said to be trying to accommodate them and trying to keep them together in trade talks, but Keiffs value is much higher than Marcus's.
Like i said, this is info i got about a week and a half ago (The major reason i started putting MoBros in my trade ideas), and he told me that they have been on the block for a few weeks, thus putting the timeline to right around the Hornacek altercation. I was also informed at the same time that we might have a reason to believe that Dragic is ready to move on to another team. He has been very open in the media about FA, and that has somewhat killed what trade value he has/had. Teams that want him want assurance that he will re-sign there, and he hasnt been willing to commit to that, but instead reiterating his stance that all teams will have a chance at signing him. He is looking for that big payday. We know that.
Also interesting to note, the Dragic info that was posted today:
"According to one report, a trade involving Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic might not happen after all. Basketball Insiders' Steve Kyler reported Phoenix is willing to pay Dragic this summer and will take him off the trade block if he commits to re-signing in July as a free agent.
Dragic is on the trade block just like the other 90% of our roster. He wont commit to re-signing until her hears all his options and offers out there, so he will remain on the trade block. Word is that his agent has really talked him up about all this.
And thats pretty much what i know. I do know a few other interesting tidbits, but i am not at liberty to share them with the board. Just know that there is a very big chance that we make a move and make one sooner rather than later.
