letsgosuns wrote:You guys just do not see it. Of course the Suns beat garbage teams. THESE TEAMS WERE HORRIBLE! But you know what, with Markieff, THEY LOST TO GARBAGE TEAMS. Dallas? Oh what a juggernaut. DESTROYED THE SUNS WITH MARKIEFF. Detroit? What an incredible team. LOST TO THEM TOO AT HOME. OKC? Annihilated the Suns with Markieff. The Clippers loss in LA, I forgot how beyond amazing Markieff played that game when he shot 7-22 from the field.
Markieff: 37% fg, 29% 3pts
Leuer: 42% fg, 50% 3 pts
Teletovic: 29% fg, 36% 3 pts
Are the Suns other power forwards that good? Not really. Is the team's offense overall dramatically improved when they are there instead of Markieff? ABSOLUTELY. Why? Because the spacing, effort, and overall energy are so much better when you have players that actually WANT TO WIN. Seriously some of you guys just want to disagree with me no matter what. This is getting ridiculous. If some of you guys do not see the direct correlation between the Suns playing so much better when Markieff is not in the lineup, then Idk what to tell you.
Perhaps our starting lineup is indeed doing better without Kieff but we still need him off the bench as a 3rd primary scorer.
We need a 3rd scorer because if a team decides to just trap/double Bledsoe and Knight, we need that 3rd weapon who will make them pay. If not for Kieff, Warren's the closest one we have.
