As opposed to Gerald playing the 1? Because that's kind of the point re: Gerald v. Knight. Hell dude, you're sitting in this thread advocating for a guy who does all the stuff you hate a current player for, while pining for another guy in Goran who is 29, averaging 12, 5, and 3 on below average efficiency getting paid $85 million. That's an extra $15 million over what Knight makes, at 5 years older, and on worse efficiency. If Knight can't play PG, then what is Goran playing this year? Whatever it is, it's not good basketball, and unequivocally worse than your least favorite Sun has played.
Pack the sand dude... you were homering this whole game thread. Defending your tiresome rebuild young or bust argument. Check my posts and quote one that is 'Pining' or 'advocating'. Find it you blow hard.
You are so predictable. It truly feels like baiting for practically every negative observation of Knight had a whiney 'stick up for him response' from you just trying to get into it with someone. You are an easy hook. (sorry... BK continues to non-impress with his crunch time yips just as you do with the 24 yrs old mantra)
Get over your self-appointed expert analysis. You do know basketball but you don't have the only crystal ball and tea leaves here. The future is not yours exclusively to predict.
BTW Dragic makes 3 mill more per yr. Look at it that way for a change.
Sure it was good to see former players Dragic and Green.... you ought to be happy they played well down the stretch and handed us that loss...since it will 'help the rebuild'

Lol. I could've flipped your entire rant about me and replaced it with you and your hate of our current guys and love of our near playoff, almost 8 seed heroes and it would've been the same.
This isn't crystal ball and tea leaves. I'm not predicting the future. Where did I do that at all? I'm stating numbers of how they have performed this season (in their
past 40 games), and then just using common sense of age presenting value relative to a rebuild. All else being equal, you want the younger guys. But even here all else isn't equal. Goran is worse and older while getting paid more. Aside from being more popular Goran presents no advantage to our team. I like the guy. I hope he does well in Miami, but he's been really awful thus far. Until he starts becoming a really productive player, you can't really say we'd be better with him. That's not me being a homer, that's me reading his stats for this season and having seen him play in games other than tonight. Not giving him the contract Miami did was a great move for us thus far. We'd be in cap hell with a 29 year old getting that and performing so terribly, particularly a PG.
Okay, I'll look at it as $3 million more per year. Goran Dragic gets paid $3 million more dollars per year to be drastically more awful basketball than Brandon Knight, while being on the downside of his career and therefore presenting none of the upside. How's that outlook? Somehow better?
And I am happy they played well down the stretch. I can be happy we lost while still being realistic about how guys we have and guys we lost to have performed this season. Knight has some issues. He's been far from perfect and I fully recognize he has some bad tendencies that need to be coached out of him. But saying Gerald and Goran would put us in a worse position isn't being a homer. Both of them are worse at basketball than Knight.
