If it wasn't for Doncic, Real would have no chance against Pao. And thats the difference. Stats don't do him justice. When he plays Real is a better team, but when he has a good game he is able to win it all by himself..
Abot mike james, he played 8 games in euroleague if I'm not wrong, so it's still Calathes who has been tue main guy for them if you are looking at the whole season
Not even close.
There are not star players in Europe anymore. In the past, EuroLeague teams had GREAT players in their prime, that is not the case anymore.
For example... Barcelona in 2002-03 had this starting five:
Jasikevicius, Navarro, Bodiroga, Fu^cka and Dueñas.
With Femerling, De la Fuente, Varejao and Rodriguez coming from the bench.
At least five players from that roster would have been in the NBA and not in Europe today. No way Bodiroga is not in the NBA in their prime in 2018.
Saberstar, question for you, who should we believe the the scouts like Givony who sees hundreds of games both in the US and Europe and gets paid for his basketball knowledge or you an educated basketball fan? I am sorry but I but I think I am going to go with Givony who calls Doncic the best player in this draft by far.
I would obviously recommend you to believe in Givony.
I agree with him regarding a lot of prospects and I am pretty sure that he knows more about basketball than me. He makes a great job describing and analizing players.
BUT I have my personal opinion about players and I do not agree with him about Doncic.
I think that he is a really good young player but I do not think he is BY FAR the best player in this draft.
He is not an Anthony Davis or LeBron...he has (for example) physical limitations that are gonna make him difficult to be a franchise player in the NBA.
Ayton, Trae, Doncic and Bagley are really close IMO. We can not know for sure who is gonna be the best of them in three years, it is so difficult to evaluate these players because are sooo young entering the NBA.
