And they (Minny) would too (trade for Ayton). That's why the story just leaked so conveniently. And some are all over it hook line and sucker, I mean sinker

No less then that. Yes or no?
Add Pick 9 and the conversation might go further along.
Na. Whoever is taken #1 won’t be better then KP imo. Only worth trading if we can get more then one pick.
Thanks for the response

If it's up to Booker he would trade the #1 pick for Towns in a heartbeat.
And then Josh would kick his ass.
You think Josh would rather play with a rookie than Towns?

AD yes, KAT no!jcsunsfan wrote:Good grief. Ayton over KAT all day every day. No way. AD, I would consider it, but even he has an injury history that would bother me. Ayton has no health issues at all. Just make the pick. Yikes. Don't try to get cute.
WTF? Are you people insane? There's a reason why KAT was the top choice in the last 2 GM surveys for question which player to start a franchise with, ahead of Giannis, AD, Kawhi, Durant, Lebron, Curry etc.
In his 2nd year he averaged 25 and 12 on 62% TS. With a diminished role in his 3rd year he averaged 21/12 on 65% TS. He has never missed a game in his career. The Wolves are 13 points per 100 possessions better with him on the court. He's Booker's best friend. He would immediately make us one of the most exciting teams in the league.
Draft fever is a serious condition. There's maybe 5% chance that anyone from this draft will be as good as KAT.
Considering there is no empirical data supporting that 5% and Ayton is a 1% specimen with skills, I'll take those odds. Again, not a fan of KAT and his soft slight build. Give Ayton 3 years to add more mass, he'd break skinny ass Capela in two. Long against long equals push, but long against muscle and long equals that's yo ass! Ask Mutombo and every other tall skinny C Shaq smashed.
Ayton could carry 10-15lbs of more muscle like nothing. I have never in my life seen a guy coming into the league at 19 with that size and build. Go look at all of the greats when they were in college and compare them to Ayton, not close.
Ewing, Duncan, Robinson, Davis, Kat, Gobert, Kareem, no one, again look at the tape. Most freaks are just athletes but Ayton is more than that and basketball is still new to him. The Greak Freak was the same type of guy coming out, but skinny as hell too. He went 15.
I'm cool on KAT.
Give up Ayton and watch him become an inside and outside dominant beast for someone else, because we could wait 2-3 years, no thank you.
Looking a gift horse in the mouth...Maybe that's why the Suns never had a great center or number one pick. The gods knew we'd just trade him away.

You are going to get @thamadkant excited talking about Ayton adding more weight. I don’t think he needs much and I don’t want to sacrifice foot speed. On the flip side he completely transformed his body in 6 months after never lifting weights before college. So who knows, maybe he can add weight and be even more explosive. If that happens....

WeekapaugGroove wrote:One sweet aspect of getting KAT is combined with booker and Jackson all the sudden the suns are the cool team that the early 20s NBA guys want to play with. They all seem popular with their peers and now you have shot at another good player forcing his way to Phoenix. I'm not saying they would be the next super team but they would have a chance.
Now if doncic or Ayton blow up maybe you get an even better version of this but KAT is more of an instant and sure thing.
All probably moot because min would be foolish to trade KAT.

I wish you were in our FO!! Exactly. Can you imagine if you guys would have traded Kobe for an established player because Kobe could have busted?!? Makes no sense.
