Only a top 10 All-Time player can play like Markieff and be good at it.

I'm off the Cousins bandwagon, he shoots 33% outside of 3 feet (280 shots)

Good work. You could put Kieff as the tin man too. I was trying to think of someone else, but he fits right in there as well.
The only other considerations were McD or Sarver for that role.

Its only a matter of time before we overtake NOLA . Brooklyn has no incentive to tank because Ainge took them to the cleaners in the KG/Pierce deal and they owe the Celts their pick so they will try to stick it to them out of spite. We have too much ground to make up if we wanna challenge Philly and LA but I think we could lose to the Lakers head to head. We need to finishing bottom 3 to have our odds at landing the #1 pick close to 20% which is optimal

I think Brooklyn and New Orleans will pass us....so that right now would put us top 3. But there is a chance teams like Denver or Minnesota or maybe Portland also fall back. Even now we have about a 30% chance to get to top 3 and a 9% chance at top pick.

If we end up with the 3rd worst record, what are our chances at the #1 pick? I know the worst record has a 25% chance at the top pick but how are the others allocated?

Rounded %

Worst - 25%
2nd Worst - 20%
3rd Worst - 15%
4th Worst - 12%
5th Worst - 9%

Since the Nets do not own their own pick and probably have zero interest in being terrible, I wonder if they would be open to trading with the Suns. The Suns need to lose as much as possible at this point to get the best chance they can at the number one pick. Three players I want off the Suns as soon as possible are Markieff, Knight, and Tucker. The Suns can do a straight salary dump of those players to the Nets for Joe Johnson. It works in the trade checker as long as the trade is made on January 15, 2016.

The Nets do it because they suck, do not own their first round pick, and have to realistically say are we going to get anyone in free agency. Therefore they might be interested. They might improve dramatically with this trade and then can try to make the playoffs in the East.

The Suns do it because they need a 100% rebuild. Not a half rebuild. All the way. Ridding themselves of Knight's 70 million dollar contract is critical. Then the rest of this season you start Booker and Warren and even Price at point guard. Then Joe Johnson can come off the bench and help run the team. This lineup will ensure that Booker and Warren are given proper time to develop. And I like the idea of Johnson mentoring the young guys over any other players the Suns currently have.

Start looking at players slotted at pick 3, 4 or 5.... suns are almost likely to fall to these picks.

76'ers just beat the Kings in Sacramento. Ish is really making a difference for the Sixers.

Skal Labissiere measured in about as expected at 6'11.5 in shoes with a 7'2 wingspan and a 225-pound frame. Measured anywhere between 6'10 and 7'0 during his high school career with a 7'1.5 wingspan and tipping the scales at 216-pound at last April's Nike Hoop Summit, it appears that the Haitian center has bulked up a bit (nine pounds) since arriving in Lexington, even if his frame remains quite skinny and has plenty of room to improve. Labissiere's numbers are quite similar to those of Amare Stoudemire, who stood 6'10 in shoes with a 7'1.75 wingspan and a 233-pound frame. Their athletic testing numbers are also eerily similar as Labissiere's 31 inch standing vertical, 35 inch maximum vertical and 12 reps on the bench and 11.12 lane agility time are nearly identical to Stoudemire's 32 inch standing vertical, 35.5 inch maximum vertical, 12 reps on the bench, and 11.19 lane agility time. It will be interesting to see how Labissiere's testing numbers translate onto the floor as a freshman, as Stoudemire ranks among the absolute best athletes at the power forward position early in his NBA career.

I seriously would trade Markieff for Ish Smith. I love that guy.

For the anti tanking group who thinks draft picks are a crap shoot...
Remember high picks are very valuable.. Can be traded for stars draft night. Harden was offered for pick 2 (Beal), Cousins would of been dealt for pick if Towns was available... But I would kept Towns in that case.

Suns can even trade Knight for a pick 8-10 on draft night, Bledsoe for a pick 4-8 and if they get a top r pick... They potentially can package all picks for a top 1 pick and future .... Or keep all and rebuild clean....
