So just who is Paul?
1. He started his own agency, Klutch Sports Group, in September 2012, after learning from agent Leon Rose at Creative Artists Agency. Klutch Sports Group is located in Cleveland. He is joined by agent Mark Termini on Klutch's board.
2. Paul's second most noteworthy client is young guard Eric Bledsoe, who is a restricted free agent this offseason, but is expected to return to the Phoenix Suns.
3. Despite being the agent for the NBA's biggest star, Paul didn't graduate from college, which has inspired at least some animosity from competitors.
4. LeBron's return to Cleveland has been "something of a mission" for Paul, according to Wojnarowski.
5. Paul is actually LeBron's third agent. He replaced Leon Rose, who replaced Aaron Goodwin.
6. Unlike many in LeBron's inner circle, he isn't a childhood friend from Akron. Paul and James met in 2002 on the way to the Final Four and bonded over retro football jerseys, according to an ESPN the Magazine profile on Paul in 2012. (That profile is well worth a read in its entirety.)
7. Although he wasn't one of those childhood friends you might've seen in "More Than A Game," he was one of the "Four Horsemen" — LeBron James, Rich Paul, Maverick Carter and Randy Mims — who comprised LRMR.
8. He made another Woj cameo after Game 2 of the NBA Finals when he was denied entry to a postgame news conference. (He was not happy.)
