Again, how can the Bucks give him the max? I don't know if you missed my last post right before yours, but please let me know if you know something I don't.

Since they are under the cap they can make a trade and not be required to take back matching salary (I think). I am assuming the Bucks new owners are aware it will take a max contract to get Bledsoe, and that they have a plan to free up enough cap space to do so.

I guess they could do that. Typically it's the teams under the cap taking back the extra salary though. I guess if they find another team that is under the cap, they could do it, but it's a little risky to make moves to clear space to sign a restricted free agent who will likely be matched anyway. I imagine they'd have to be on the worse end of the trade to clear unwanted salary, or give up an asset like a future pick to clear it.

I really don't think it's worth wasting time thinking about Bled to Milwaukee. Ain't happening. And we were already expecting to pay Bled close to the max, so it's really quite inconsequential.

Chicago?

I dont think any team in the NBA other than Miami would offer him what he wants (more years). I dont see Chicago offering him more than $18/2yrs, and thats pushing it.

Couldnt agree more! How long has Milwaukee been "rebuilding" anyway? Bledsoe wouldnt speed up the process that much for them. They have a lot of work to do. No way Bledsoe signs an offer sheet with them.

You are foolish to think the bucks wont offer 4/62 mil offer sheet. The new ownership isn't f'n around. Will they get him, probably not, but the Suns will end up paying far more to keep him. This why they got J.Kidd to try to convince talent that wouldn't normally give Milwaukee the time of day.

And then meanwhile we tie up your cap space for three days while matching and you lose a chance at Lin or Vazquez. Risky.

I don't think not getting Lin ar Vasquez is risky. At least Bledsoe is worth the risk. It might keep the Bucks from doing MORE stupid things with their money

I like Milwaukee's future more than most. Bledsoe would be excellent there but I can't see them offering the max. More like 4/52 and the Suns will be happy to match.

If Lebron goes elsewhere adding Parsons would be a good start. Better fit than Heyward with two penetrating guards...

Bledsoe-Ennis
Dragic-Goodwin
Parsons-Green/Warren
Kieff-Mook/Parsons

Lin's a good player when used correctly. When he has started he has been really effective.

Jeremy Lin is one those players that if he was on the Suns, I could not even root for the team until he was gone. I dislike him that much. I think he is absolutely horrible and beyond pathetic and was a huge reason why the Rockets did not get out of the first round.

Are you f$&@ing serious?

You wouldn't root for the suns because of Jeremy Lin.

Who I believe has been shafted/screwed by Rockets by forcing him to be an off-ball PG next Harden.

Just for that, I want the suns to actually trade for him so he can play free reign as a backup PG and thrive.
Haters be damned.

I want to see the real suns fans in here, just for my own reference.

Team/franchise > individual players .... I follow teams not players.

Agreed. Unless Lin f**cked your mom, you should be able to root for the team even with him on the roster.

If you could root for the team through guys like Warrick, Frye, Beasley etc then you can easily root for the team with Lin.

That would make sense. He's from Dallas.

Sounds like Lebron is done with Bosh...

Wait, wait... Bosh hasn't been contacted by Suns?

Something tells me there's a LeBron/Love sweepstakes, and only two teams are in it.

Yea I'm kinda disappointed that we haven't talked to Bosh.

He makes sense for us with or without LeBron.
