Yes. Even tho I have to admit this has been the first game in a very long time where I was thinking "**** it, go get 'em boys!"

I kinda gave up when they had that big run on 3Q.
Seems like I'll have to catch it up, because AGRESSIVE BENDER WAS IN THE COURT

Wish Dudley was in better shape. He is still a super smart player and when he is on the court the offensive system runs a lot better. He is a good vet to have in a rotation with youth. Just wish he worked on his fitness.

I went to the game today.

I spoke with Kevin Ray afterwards and he told me Booker woke up unable to stretch his arm all the way. He got work done but it still wasn't good by game time.
Warren has back spasms. Jackson with the knee.

We had 6 guys in double figures which was crazy.
Bender looked pretty damn good at times.
Reed looked like he belonged.
Harrison looked really good. Kevin Ray is confident we'll sign him for the rest of the year. 10 day contact expires after the Cavs game.

I got to meet Eddie Johnson again. Mark West already left so I couldn't meet him. Got to meet Al McCoy which was awesome.

Exactly what I and some have stated here.

Close games but in a loss? Great for youth development because it keeps them hungry and motivated... the locker room mentality would be "Man, we almost had them, next time we'll try harder"

But blow outs?... like 30 point losses?.... the locker room would just be somber and there's little motivation because you dont know where to start.

The difference between what Elfrid was able to do with Bender at the 5 instead of Chandler was very apparent this game.

Payton has kind of been avoiding passing to Bender though for a while because Bender passed up on what looked like would have been an easy bucket, and would hurt his assists...probably felt it was a worthless pass. Bender has been passive, but Ulis had finally kind of gotten him going before Payton showed up and then Bender stopped seeing the ball much after Payton saw him not finish a play or two he was trying to create. If Payton stuck with it with Bender it would help them both.

But Bender clears the paint. The team would play better with Dudley getting the vet minutes over Chandler. Bender, Chriss, and Dudley can all open things up for Payton, Warren, and Jackson

WHEW
Finally watched our 4Q.

Dragan hitting contested 3's. That breakaway 3 was really nice too.
All of that space in the paint for Elfrid.

5 out offense was unstoppable in the last quarter.

Missed the game cause I didn’t think t would be worth it with Jackson, Warren and Booker all out but rewatched the 4th and was very pleasantly surprised.

Ulis actually making plays was a blast from the past.

And where has this Bender been all my life. Please Dragan, play this same way every game even if you’re missing the shots you were making today.

He’s such a different player when he plays like this.

Didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I saw this lineup on the floor:

PG - Our 3rd string PG (Ulis)
SG - Our backup PG (Harrison)
SF - Our 3rd string SG (Reed)
PF - Our 3rd string PF (Dudley)
C - Our backup PF (Chriss)

How we didn't lose this one by fifty mystifies me.

Dragan played better once he moved to the C spot. For some reason he decided to play aggressive and it paid off.

I have liked Reed from the start. He has the tools to be Devin's backup for the years to come. I hope he doesn't disappoint the way Ulis did.

Didn't watch the game but saw the highlights so some might want to give me some more context but who the hell is this new AGGRESSIVE Bender? Drove in 2-3 times? Got a post up opportunity which he used?? Point Guard Bender taking the ball up the court for a pull up 3? HUH???

Who dat?

He plays with the right amount of fury and urgency, the man plays like he gives a ****. I only wish we could get Chriss, Bender, and others to play as hard as he does. Part of the battle of being great is deciding to just play hard.

In order to get him to get and stay aggressive in games, maybe we need to force feed him to start like Portland when they had LMA. First few plays should be scripted for him to shoot the damn ball to get him flowing and to feel involved. Booker can get himself started at any time, Warren not quite as easy but he can too. FORCE FEED HIS ASS, and yell at him if he passes up on the shot the way Alvin Gentry did when Goran Dragic wouldnt shoot the damn ball.
