I think its pretty close. He is extremely fast. He is an excellent leaper. He is 6-7 with a 7-2 wingspan. JJ is 6-8 with a 6-10 wingspan. Mikal is a smarter JJ with an excellent jump shot. I do not know how there is any getting around that. Mikal is a year older, so JJ has one year to catch up with his shooting.

JJ is high BBIQ as well, so I wouldn't immediately put Mikal above in in feel. JJ is for sure a better athlete and one of the fastest players in the league. And JJ is better w the ball in his hands. Let's slow it down w the hype. There's a reason JJ was the number 4 in the first place.

JJ’s BBIQ at the NBA level remains to be seen. You can’t jusge his high volume/low efficiency in a tanking season.

JJ showed a lot of aptitude when Triano sat him down to study film and proved a lot in the second half of the season. Don't forget how well he played at Kansas. He was always making good decisions for them. Mikal is smart, don't get me wrong, but JJ has a better scoring instinct.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

doesn't look too bad if you watch it a few times. The hitch is consistent and systematic. Might change in high octane play though

on the other hand, Josh Jackson has the Charles Barkley golfswing of jumpshots

He was supposed to have really good form so this is really kind of surprising.

I hope it’s nothing that Kokoskov can’t fix.

Not a single one of you watched his Nova games, apparently. He is very good catch&shoot guy, but not a PURE shooter. Never was and never will be.

I wouldn't try to "fix" anything if he's making them. That's what Fultz' personal coach (or whoever that guy was) did, even though Fultz was a great shooter in college.

This man shot like 45% from 3 on a high volume and y'all wanna "fix" his shot? Good grief.

Fultz had a shoulder injury which changed his shot entirely. I don’t think Bridges has any injuries yet.

It's weird but even peak Matrix was shooting near 40% from the 3 on almost 4 attempts a game with one of the ugliest shooting strokes ever. If Bridges is hitting his shots at a good clip on decent attempts, I don't care if he's doing a ballerina twirl as part of his jump shot.

I'll say this though, during in-game speed the hitch a lot less noticeable unlike JJ's which is apparent even at full game speed

I mean I guess it depends on your definition. Dude's consistent with the occasional white hot streak. Some people need to handle the ball more to find their balance - not him. You can call it whatever you want but he'll make threes a killer clip, whether or not he had to work to get there.
