(will edit it as i go on since i need to add stuff still)
Wrestler of the year - Tetsuya Naito (bit of a controversial one but as a complete package Naito has been amazing. Having amazing matches and being the most over wrestler in New Japan right now. It was a toss-up between him and AJ Styles (who has been far and away the best WWE wrestler i think) but i gave the nod to Naito on the basis of charisma. HM: AJ Styles, Matt Hardy
Most Oustanding Wrestler - AJ Styles (Styles may miss out for me on wrestler of the year, but for me he has been the best wrestler in the ring. Every match of his is must see and pretty much any match he wrestles, especially every one he wrestled this year, has been great). HM: Sami Zayn, Kazuchika Okada
Best Technical Wrestler - AJ Styles (i guess he falls under high flyer also but as a technician he is probably the best in the world right now). HM: Kazuchika Okada
Best High-Flyer - Will Ospreay (absolutely phenomenal year from him, going to New Japan and ROH, only worry is he may be doing everything too fast, however his matches are exciting and fast paced). HM: Ricochet, Fenix, Kota Ibushi
Best Brawler - Katsuyori Shibata (he is sick in his head but Shibata is the hardest hitting man in the wrestling world right now, absolute monster that is to be feared and he is only 200lbs, who would have thought). HM: Cesaro, Tomohiro Ishii, Jeff Cobb, Samoa Joe
Most Improved Wrestler - Matt Hardy (who would have thought Matt Hardy of all people would be the one leading TNA into 2017, he has established himself with Broken Matt Hardy as the premier talent in the company and is one of the main reasons it is one of the better products on TV today, despite issues at corporate level). HM: Chris Jericho, The Miz
Best Gimmick - Broken Matt Hardy (like there was any other option, far and away the best gimmick this year, a character with so many intricacies, it is his own little world really. A character that has been able to get over anything and everything, including a boat, a remote control drone, reby sky's father, reby sky herself, their son etc. HM: Chris Jericho
Promotion of the Year - NJPW (Highly succesful year for them, which is a shock really given they lost their main tag team and 2 of the biggest stars within the first month. They've recovered nicely, finding new stars in Kenny Omega and Tetsuya Naito to replace them at the top. Whilst the tag team division isn't the same and they have struggled for most of the year in the Jr Heavyweight ranks, which that too is improving, their product overall has been very good and business wise, they're in the best position since their peak in the 90's). HM: WWE
TV Show of the year: Lucha Underground (They've done it yet again, after a slow season 2, season 3 has been absolutely amazing, with the emergence of Pentagon Jr/Dark, Johnny Mundo, Sexy Star and reermergence of Prince Puma and Mil Muertes, plus Mantanza's destruction, this show has everything a fan of wrestling could possibly ever want) HM: Impact Wrestling
Best-Non Wrestler: Dario Cueto (one of the best authority figures ever, seriously this guy is an absolute treat, he is a heel but he does things for a reason, everything is calculated, everything is for a long term goal and for his enjoyment. He is the ultimate puppeteer. He also has a compelling backstory which not many other authority figures have). HM: N/A
Best Major Wrestling Show: Invasion Attack (really close between this and Money in the Bank but Invasion Attack gets the nod, mainly due to slightly better wrestling on the card (and not subjecting me to a Golden Truth match) and some great angles such as Tatsu's return, Sanada's debut, Shibata vs the Old Guard with Nagata getting in his face along with Naito fulfilling a 3 year oddesy after being rejected from the main event by the fans, and finally winning the big one) HM: Money in the Bank
Tag Team of the Year: The Revival (The best heel tag team in the world today, its atonishing that they went from barely known to being one of the better names in NXT and guys who are likely to be called out very soon, they're everything a heel tag team should be, proper old schol mentality also) HM: The New Day, Young Bucks
Most Underrated: Sami Zayn (the man has been one of the best wrestlers this year, but cannot get a snif of any of the titles, to be honest he should have been on smackdown and main eventing given how much quality he has, at least finally they may have him in a major storyline against Strowman, but its taken far too long) HM: Cesaro
Most Charismatic: Shinsuke Nakamura (just name this the Nakamura award until he retires, he owns this really) HM: Broken Matt Hardy, Tetsuya Naito, Chris Jericho, Rush
Best on Interviews: Chris Jericho (everytime he has a mic, people listen, like really listen, this is the best incarnation of Jericho since 08 and his feud with Micheals, he is gold). HM: Kevin Owens, Tetsuya Naito
Best Commentator: Mauro Ranello (a good WWE commentator, a rarity right, he is the best colour commentator WWE has had since JR, and the fact that he is quality despite having to deal with JBL and Otunga is astonishing). HM: Corey Graves, Vampiro
Best Booker: Ryan Ward (i know i didn't include smackdown because its the whole year but Ward's half a year of booking here was more than enough).
Match of the Year: Sami Zayn vs Shinsuke Nakamura (this was just hype, so much hype around the match and then they pull this off
Rookie of the Year: Gzim Selmani (one half of the authors of pain, an absolute freak of nature, i mean i couldn't think of many other wrestlers who debuted this year specifically but he as apart of of the AOP has been amazing)
Feud of the Year: Tetsuya Naito v Kazuchika Okada/NJPW (again i go back to New Japan for this one, this feud which is still kind of ongoing in terms of Naito v New Japan, has been amazing and the backstory for it has been 3 years in the making, which given the past makes this all the more compelling) HM: The Miz v Daniel Bryan
And now for the worst
Most Overrated: Brock Lesnar (he rocks up and stands there, or he rocks up and suplex's people, they've killed suplex city and it isn't really his fault, its just that they don't let him really do or say anything, and brock when he's allowed some room to breath can be entertaining on the mic, especially playing of Heyman, but we haven't had that, also this almost applies to heyman himself as his mic work has been some of the worst in his career, but there is only so many times you can say the same thing before it gets old). HM:
Worst Commentator: David Otunga (oh the choices, this is a 5 way toss up between 4 WWE commentators and 1 really bad TNA commentator, but Otunga wins out for just being that awful, seriously he's only been on commentary for a few months and he comes off terribly and doesn't do anything or provides anything, get him off my TV now) HM: Josh Matthews, Byron Saxton, Micheal Cole, JBL
Worst Major Wrestling Show: Triplemania 2016 (so many issues, oh so many issues with this show, first of all most of the matches were spotty as all hell, as an english viewer there was just too much wrong with the show to enjoy it) HM: Wrestlemania 32,
Most Digusting Promotional Tactic: Using Eddie Guerrero to get Sasha Banks over (when Foley said "you are a part of Eddie's legacy now" i had no words, absolutely none. They used it 10 years ago for Mysterio, that was bad enough but at least he kinda was close, i'm not convinced Sasha knew them, yeah i'm sure Vickie would have given her consent but even Chavo himself tweeted that he wasn't too much of a fan of this). HM: Susan G Komen
Worst Television Show of the Year: ROH Wrestling (its astonishing how boring the tv product has been, this is a product that one year ago was actually really compelling, now its regular shows are mostly irrelevant and don't do a lot towards the build) and whilst their is slight improvement recently, it doesn't forgive them for the large proportion of the year, the only saving grace this entire year i feel was Jay Lethal's title run). HM: Raw, NXT
Worst Promotion of the Year: Ring Of Honor (yep, they're picking up worst promotion also, i cannot think of a major company who has had a worse year than ROH in terms of growth, and that includes TNA who nearly went bust, they've lost most of their mid card because of bad booking, have built 0 stars this year and are probably about to lose their best and second best talents in Cole and Lethal. Constant pandering to New Japan and its stars, lack of build for its own stars, questionable booking decisions, questionable dealings when it came to talent and letting them go, little went right this year and its going to take them years to rebuild i'd say). HM: TNA, AAA
Worst Gimmick: Curt Hawkins (what kind of poor excuse for a gimmick is this, it gets x-pac heat, not sure if they intended that but it sucks beyond belief)
Worst Feud of the Year: Rusev vs Ziggler (who thought this was a good idea to do this again)
Worst Match: Rebel v Shelly Martinez (don't watch this match, its bad, like minus 5 stars bad)
