I think Frye is an overall better player than Bass, but he duplicates LMA's game and they dont make a good bigmen tandem. Both LMA and Outlaw would mesh well with Oden, what we need is a PF who could play alongside LMA at center. I think Bass is this guy, he's tougher than Frye, I dont care about the RPG numbers, I think he's better than both LMA and Frye at securing the DREB. And on the open court, both Bass and LMA are very athletic and could flourish. Not to mention that Bass is a better low post threat than both LMA and Frye.

I say keep both Outlaw and Webster. Wer'e holding the cards here, would love to see a deal made if it is for Frye, Jack and Sergio, but if not - there would come other options by draft time.

Where did Bucher report that it changed to Webster and Sergio? I could definitely see that as KP demanding that instead of Outlaw and Thorn holding out because he feels he can do better.......

Assuming we'll be giving away Raef, Frye, Jack and Sergio (all go to the Nets) for Harris, Bass, Magloire and Stackhouse, do you think we should add some of our 2nd rounders or even our 1st round pick?

If that was the package I would throw all of our picks in there.

I said in a couple of other threads that I think all of these 'leaks' are coming out of the NJ front office, so what we're hearing are the Net's versions of offers, and perhaps exaggerated versions as well.

We haven't heard KP's response which was probably along the lines of 'pound it through your porthole'

It seems like we have the most leverage of the three teams to hold out for what we want. (With the Lakers adding Gasol, Dallas could make a desperation move.) Anyway, what's the best looking trade that works under the cap?

Basically, I see KP less attached to Martell and Jack, since they weren't really his draft picks. Even though we picked Travis up long before KP, I'm guessing that he's a KP guy since he re-signed him this off-season.

Under some of the posted scenarios, we give up Martell, Jack, LaFrenz and possibly a draft pick. Going forward with one of those trades, I love our rotation:

Harris, Roy, James Jones, LA and Oden starting.
Blake, Rudy, Outlaw, Frye and Przybilla leading the white unit.
Sergio somehow mixing in for 15 mpg. (I'll leave that to Nate.)

I must say, that is a great looking rotation. Plus we free up roster spots. And if Miles is actually ready to play in the NBA again, it should open up some minutes for him as well.

Village, nice Idea with VanHorn and I do agree that is a more likely scenario with KVH as Dallas does not have to then trade guys they need. However, the ONE thing I do not see is us including Outlaw, I could see Jack and Frye and and an outside chance at Webs, but not TO. My take
