Next season: 12-14 PPG 9 RPG 2 APG 1.8 BPG 52% FG 65% FT 1.2 SPG
Prime: 18-22 PPG 12-13 RPG 3.1 APG 3.0 BPG 55% FG 70% FT 1.7 SPG 5 CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!
I'd take him mid to late second round next season. He's not as valuable on fantasy as Some of the fantasy stars but as a rookie, He'll make a nice impact at the center position.

12pts 12rebs and 3 blocks next year.
26 to 32pts, 11 to 16 rebs, 2.5 to 4 blks through prime.
I think some years he'll score better, and some he'll rebound better but I expect most years his numbers will be some where in that range.

Surge is smokin the sticky green.
If there is absolutely anyone with a Greg Oden prediction based on something other than their range of hysteria for his insane athleticism for a big man, then you can criticize me. Otherwise, all of our predictions are held to equal terms.

How about basing it on his insane athleticism, his ability to make shots with both hands, his excellent footwork compared to virtually every NBA big man, and the insane court vision he showed in the few summer league games he played before the surgery? That's what mine is based on, and I think we're looking at a player that can easily average what he did in his freshman year at OSU in the NBA, and I would actually be disappointed if he didn't get more rebounds than that.

I was thinking maybe 16.5ppg, but other than that I'm pretty much in line with your estimates. I think he may be a better FT% shooter than you suspect, though, as I believe he was over 63% shooting with his off hand in college last year.

Take it for what it's worth, but I asked Barrett on his blog back in Mid-August if he knew if the coaching staff had any plans for his free throw shooting. Aside from being chastised for daring to question a skill in Oden's repetrois I was told that he actually had pretty good form and that the coaching staff thought he could become a pretty good free throw shooter.
Again, take that for what it's worth.
