Thomas could be a nice sixth man but you certainly don't bench a player like Thornton for him, not a chance. Salmons could be an issue, him fitting in was quite contingent on him focusing on aspects of the game that aren't really his strong suit so hopefully he can be told what his role should be and adjust to it more effectively in time. I'd really like to see Garcia get the start a few times and see if his spot shooting comes back because out of all the SF's on this team, sans Honeycutt of course, he is the best "fit" on paper.
As said, this team just has to work way too hard to win. I mean, they just had to go 110% against the Raptors and won in a tight contest, good because it came off the backs of your two stars, but man, there has to be some greater picture that involves easy baskets. Hayes and Cousins are your source for those easy gets. This win tonight may have shown you what a team with Evans/Cousins can do in the playoffs though, gutting through and just flat out refusing to quit when your system has failed you.
