That's a ridiculous take. There are plenty of reasons for certain teams to take the safer option over a guy who has about a 1% chance of turning into a star. The Pels should be looking at how the Bucks have built their roster and game style around Giannis - shooting, defense and role players. If they can do that (although I question the organisation's capabilities), they'll be a regular playoff team. If they take Keon, he's probably going to be a negative impact on-court player for at least the first few years, and if he flames out completely they're back to square one.
I agree with this take. All or nothing guys are way more likely to bust than turn into Giannis. High end role player picks are just as likely to turn into stars as these swing for the fences guys.
