You dont say no to star upside.

That's a ridiculous take. There are plenty of reasons for certain teams to take the safer option over a guy who has about a 1% chance of turning into a star. The Pels should be looking at how the Bucks have built their roster and game style around Giannis - shooting, defense and role players. If they can do that (although I question the organisation's capabilities), they'll be a regular playoff team. If they take Keon, he's probably going to be a negative impact on-court player for at least the first few years, and if he flames out completely they're back to square one.

I agree with this take. All or nothing guys are way more likely to bust than turn into Giannis. High end role player picks are just as likely to turn into stars as these swing for the fences guys.

People who believe Barnes is currently a better prospect than Suggs are delusional

Am I missing something on Davion Mitchell? What makes him a far better prospect than Deuce McBride?

McBride seems like far better value for where he is going to get drafted

I am going to be honest I think Butler is a better prospect than both of them health concerns aside.

seeing josh christopher move up in some mock drafts is nice to see but it's sad that he was even mocked in the 2nd round to begin with.

Just watched his scouting vid with Mike Schmitz yesterday. Good talented kid. Gonna wanna work hard and has an understanding of where he could improve and what he can actually do. On top of the NBA ready physical traits and useful skillset. Think it needs to be a good situation for him to fully thrive but he should be a benefit to an NBA team regardless.

Tre Mann feels like hes wildly slept on. I'd take him @10 if I were the Pelicans.

Asking from pure ignorance. What are the selling points of Tre Mann over Bones Hyland?

I'm not super well versed on Bones overall.

Mann is a good pass/dribble/shoot player with onball and offball upside who has potential to bomb 3s off the dribble and create looks for himself and his team. That to me is what the NBA wants.

I think the Pelicans screwed up passing on Garland who would be perfect with Zion and this gives them an opporunity to sort of fix it. Hes not as quick/shakey as Garland is or as good at shooting but is like 3 inches taller.

I like Petrusev, but isaih todd's jumper is so money in the next level..

I love how mann had command of the florida offense late in the year, he can really operate in the pick n roll well with his size and decent ball handling. I think his shooting is underrated he took a lot of high difficulty off the dribble threes which is precisely what he'll be asked to do @ the next level, he just has a sweet stroke. I can see him developing a high level floater game too like a quickley or trae.

Suggs is making a late push on my board. He just has everything you want in a prospect besides elite athleticism.

Memphis got the 10th pick in the Bledsoe/Adams/Valanciunas trade.

I think they will draft Sengun with the pick. He complements JJJ very well.

I like that more than the reported Giddey selection.

I'd very surprised if they draft Giddey. He's not so good a fit there due to Morant's presence... unless they are planning on using the 10th pick on a deep draft to select his backup.

The greatest concern for them, IMO, is JJJ's surprising lack of development. He's considered one of their core players. As long as he doesn't develop the way he's supposed to, they can surround him & Ja with all the world's greatest role players, but the team won't go far.

looks like they're trying to go further up. maybe flipping Bledsoe and the 10th for something higher. Don't know who the takers would be though.

i’m sure okc would be interested in trading down IF memphis obliges presti in his hunt for endless frp’s. OKC doesn’t really need the number 6 pick they got kinda screwed in the lottery

He is the one I can see well outdoing his draft position in the coming years. I mean he has all the tools, is a big lad and loves to be psychical. It’s all there for him. Shot it more then fine late and his FT% is sound. First year playing SG too, Freshman etc etc.

He should be in the top 10 but isn’t.
