But regardless, that's in the past now. Scottie is that guy now and this is part of what what comes with it in this market. Not any different from what Vladdy/Bo, Matthews/Marner/Nylander and past stars like Bosh, Vince or Mats (Kessel had it the worst) have had to deal with too.
Not only do these players have to be perfect playing the game but they have to fit into this acceptable personality box too. Not to say that Scottie was right for what he did the other day, but he made a mistake and he'll hopefully learn from it. Making it any bigger than that is definitely a problem though.
