I noticed that he is currently leading the league in 3 point percentage, which is shocking to me, if he keeps it up he might be the founder of the 50/50/85 club. I just don't understand how his three point percentage (53%) is the highest of his career, yet his field goal percentage is the lowest of his career (50%). Can anyone explain that? Too many jumpers? Does anyone think he'll still be leading the lead in 3P% at seasons end?
His FG% is down mainly because absolutely nobody on that team can create anything or hit any shots. Just take a look at that roster, their main go-to guys, besides JV and Ingram, have been Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Devonte Graham, Josh Hart, Herbert Jones, Garett Temple, Tomas Satoransky and so on. I mean, come on. So, he is double teamed a lot and not getting any easy opportunities. 3pt or long 2s are just about the only shots where he is at least semi, or wide open. Also, opening game of the season was a 3/19 stinker and it stills brings down his overall % for the season by about 2 percentage points, which is a lot.
