OG+4
For
SGA + 6
Why for Toronto? They get their hometown star who looks like he is in the making of being a top 10 player. Draft either Kuminga or Barnes with the 6th pick to fill the hole OG leaves behind.
FVV/SGA/6Th pick/Pascal/C
Why for OKC? They get an elite young 3+D wing that is on a reasonable contract with experience on a championship team and draft their future PG in Suggs. They also avoid giving a max contract out the SGA
Suggs/Dort/OG/Poku/???
I'm generally against trading a bird in hand for two in the bush and that kinda feels like what's going on here.
We'd be lucky if Barnes or Kuminga turns out to be the guy we're essentially trading for them. Makes no sense for us.
If OKC is willing to do Suggs for SGA straight up, now that's something I'd think about very, very hard.
I would as well but I dont think they would do SGA for 4. I look at it like SGA has a bit more value then OG swapping picks makes up for that. I love OG but SGA would be a guy to retool around. I think OG is a good player but overrated on our board and will never be a #1 or 2 on offense which is what this team desperately needs.
#4 + GTJ for SGA + #6, would throw in a couple of 2nd rounders if that's what it takes. Take Barnes/Kuminga at 6.
In Free Agency, sign Noel and Birch for 5M ea? Then re-sign Kyle for 25M (we may still be below the tax if we give him 30M)...
Kyle/SGA/OG/Pascal/Noel
FVV/Bembry/Barnes (#6)/Boucher/Birch
Flynn/Watson/Yuta/FG
I'd say we have a pretty good chance defensively against BKN, MIL, PHI
