ya but for how long
Let's say 3 years. I don't think his shooting is just going to disappear overnight.
thats a pretty big assumption. Harden was a superstar at 32 dominating alongside Kyrie/KD with the Nets. At 34, Harden couldnt get secure himself a contract or get a team to give up any kind of decent value for him. Father time is undefeated. To me, if youre getting Dame at 33, you should expect 1 high level playoffs out of him. I think its crazy to expect any more.
Not many guys stay elite in their mid 30's. Dame may be the exception, but how comfortable are you in betting on that?
James Harden put up 21/10/6 last season with a TS% of 60%. Father time might be undefeated but he hasn't found Harden's house yet. And Lillard doesn't have Harden's problem of asking for trades every 30 minutes and well documented playoff choking resume.
Lillard just had the best season of his career last year.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.
