Isn’t this guy a troll? He’s probably just saying Toronto because he knows about the large fan base.

Naw. Called a bunch during FA before woj shams

I refuse to believe anything from anyone who's not plugged into the NBA circles. I myself would've been right on many FA signings, or possible trades or non trades. Unless these guys like woj or shams are using burner accounts, how is a random twitter user plugged into multiple organizations and not work for anyone?

There's definitely something there. Already been mentioned by shams and other people

ya but for how long

Let's say 3 years. I don't think his shooting is just going to disappear overnight.

thats a pretty big assumption. Harden was a superstar at 32 dominating alongside Kyrie/KD with the Nets. At 34, Harden couldnt secure himself a contract or get a team to give up any kind of decent value for him. Father time is undefeated. To me, if youre getting Dame at 33, you should expect 1 high level playoffs out of him. I think its crazy to expect any more.

Not many guys stay elite in their mid 30's. Dame may be the exception, but how comfortable are you in betting on that?

Odds are he will not be a Raptor but I think it's increasingly looking like he will not be a member of the Heat.

I don't think it has anything to do with fan engagement. I think Cronin knows our front office won't put in any work confirming or denying anything. Complete media silence all summer. They aren't saying **** until media day and even then probably nothing is said. It is completely free leverage for him with Miami. Just a theory.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

James Harden put up 21/10/6 last season with a TS% of 60%. Father time might be undefeated but he hasn't found Harden's house yet. And Lillard doesn't have Harden's problem of asking for trades every 30 minutes and well documented playoff choking resume.

Lillard just had the best season of his career last year.

I wouldn't rule out your theory either. Ultimately I think we are saying the same thing.....the Raptors are being thrown into these rumors but are not in on Dame.

I think GTJ still gets to start...which should mean good shots open up for him in a starting role.

Gary didn't like it in Portland because he was playing behind Dame and CJ and was playing in a bench role...so I think it would be different.

Harden completely let himself go, eating cheeseburgers by the dozen and drinking at strip clubs. His conditioning was brutal. Dame doesn't give off those vibes to me.

Just a week ago Shams said he wouldn't report to Toronto. Shams pretty much works for Pat Riley. That wasn't an random team he just chose out of thin air.

The exact next day on RealGM main page the headline was

"Lillard would show up to any team that traded for him"

Then a week later the league made a rule where players can't sit out or not report for duties because of trade purposes...

These guys have absolutely no clue as to what they're talking about, and how/why would they... well run organizations aren't leaking trade information to these guys, especially nobodies on twitter
