He was coming in hot but the injury rate is concerning. He might not be fully ready physically. He doesn't need strength or size, he needs to make sure he is durable.
He makes passes you don't see watching on TV, Scottie does that sometimes but CMB does it more. He always makes the right play it reminds me of Jokic.
He needs an immediate role in the rotation and he should get heavy minutes. We have to preserve Poeltl and keep him healthy if we want to have a good season. I would strongly consider capping Poeltl at 25-27 minutes. Maybe something like this against weaker teams?

CMB - 20
Barnes - 34
Mamu - 17
It would help develop CMB, let Barnes still get his minutes, develop value in Mamu (sell him to the team he wants to sign with?), and keep Poeltl healthy for important games and a long season.
