He's paper thin which means when he adds weight it'll slow him down some. He's super young and with impeccable work ethic he can become a solid player, but he just looks like a huge project with a mid level ceiling.
- Bilal is around 6'7" - 200lbs. That is the same range as the following- Dick, Thompson twins, Max Lewis, Black, Rupert, GG

Coulibaly relies on hesitations to get to his spots and will pull out combo moves. With his improved skill and agile physical profile, he’s become a more difficult player to guard. He keeps his dribble alive when pressured by opposing players or when offensive sets are blown up. The handle is still loose, leading to turnovers when slashing through traffic.

It’s his first year as a pro, so we had to go slowly,” explains Collet. “Everything looks easy when you watch him play. He is graceful. Bilal has been blessed with superior athletic abilities. He learns fast, he is smart, he feels the game, you tell him something once and he gets it. Bilal has a ways to go but he is gifted.

Bilal is interesting but my reason i do not want him .....We have OG/Barnes on the team....OG still young, Barnes our future....Adding Bilal does nothing for the team overall cause he is ways away from being able to contribute for us and also will not be good enough to replace either Barnes/OG in our starting lineup....
We would basically be drafting Bilal to try and reach OG level which im not convinced he will even be on an OG level of player.
I think we need a guard too bad on our team and there are some great prospect guards at the 13th spot for us to pass up on one....
If we traded OG/Siakam this offseason ....Siakam to the Blazers for Simons + 3 and trade OG for more young assets + draft picks or w/e you can get for OG than Drafting Bilal opens up at 13 ....And id be fine reaching for him at that point but if we stand pat at 13 makes little to no sense to draft him.
Won't try to sell you on wanting to pick Bilal but I just can't get with continued assertion that you're making that "OG is Bilal's ceiling" when that's just flatly wrong imo.
Bilal is ALREADY a better ballhandler than OG. OG can not rip & run (rebound then take the ball coast to coast) and he can not drive to the basket off the dribble, he is flat out too uncoordinated and clumsy. He at times looks like a child trying to control the ball by watching himself dribble lol. If he gets to the paint it's usually a result of backing down his man, not blowing by them etc. Bilal is already showing he can do those things to some degree...
But the level of fluidity just in his body's coordination, is just clearly much better than OG and if OG had the ability to rip & run or drive to the basket, he'd be a completely different level of player --- OG with better handles and fluidity would be one of the best SFs in the league tbh and that to me is what Bilal's potential is. You don't like him as a prospect, cool, I'm sure there's prospects you like that I don't either but I just flat out don't agree that OG is his ceiling.
